Produkti, ki mi niso všeč #1

Čeprav ponavadi pred nakupom kakega izdelka vedno pregledam ocene, videe, itd. na internetu, pa se zna zgoditi, da za kak izdelek ne najdem ocene ali pa so ocene super, ampak meni izdelek ne ustreza. Zato bom vedno, ko bom imela tri izdelke, tudi to potem napisala in povedala, zakaj meni osebno izdelek ni bil všeč.

Although I usually read many reviews, watch videos, etc. of products before I buy them it sometimes happens that I can’t find a review or the reviews are great, but the product doesn’t work on me. So every time I will have three products that were a miss for me, I will write which ones they were and why I didn’t like them.

1. Artdeco podlaga za ustnice Beauty balm lip base

Ko so mat tekoče šminke postale hit, sem hitro želela slediti množici in jih tudi sama uporabljati. Ker sem brala ocene in izkušnje drugih blogerk, sem se odločila, da bo najboljše, da poiščem bazo za pod šminko, ki bo naredila nošenje le-te tudi bolj prijetno. Ker sem potrebovala nekaj na hitro, sem se odločila kupit izdelek, ki se ga dobi pri nas v trgovini.                                                                                                                             Kupila sem Artdeco Beauty balm lip base. Izdelek sem najprej poskusila brez šminke, torej samo tale »balzam«. Izdelek je precej tekoč, rahlo obarvan, vonj je blag. Neke razlike nisem opazila na samih ustnicah, razen tega, da so bile malo bolj svetle. Sem mislila da bo razlika opazna, ko bom nanesla čez tekočo šminko. Razlike ni bilo. Izdelek ni storil ničesar. Več učinka je imel moj najljubši balzam od Nuxea, kot tale, ki bi naj bil podlaga za šminko. Izdelek naj bi dal ustnicam push-up učinek, podaljšal obstojnost, nevtraliziral barvo ustnic in še kaj, ampak edino kar sem opazila je, da je izdelek posvetil barvo mojih ustnic. Prav tako naj bi bil vlažilen, kar ni. Da, moje ustnice so zahtevne in se hitro izsušijo, ampak ta izdelek jih vsekakor ni obvaroval od tega.                                                                                                                                Za izdelek sem plačala nekaj okoli 13€, kar se mi zdi za nekaj, kar ponavljam, ne naredi ničesar, izredno veliko. Izdelka ne priporočam.

When matte liquid lipsticks became a hit I wanted to follow the crowd and start using them. Because I was reading reviews from other bloggers I decided that it would be best if I found a base for under the lipstick, that will make wearing it much more comfortable. I wanted something quick so I decided to buy a product that was available in our stores.       I bought the Artdeco Beauty balm lip base. I tried the product without the lipstick first, so just the “balm” by itself. The balm is pretty liquid, slightly colored with a mild scent. I didn’t see a difference on the lips except that they were a little lighter. I thought that the difference would be visible when I would apply the liquid lipstick. There was none. The product didn’t do anything. My favorite Nuxe balm had a bigger effect then this one that is supposed to be a base. The product is supposed to give the lips a push-up effect, increase durability, neutralize the color of the lips and so on, but the only thing that I noticed was that it lightened the color of my lips. It is also supposed to be moisturizing and it’s not. Yes, my lips are … and they chap really fast, but this product didn’t prevent that from happening.     I paid around 13€ which is absolutely too much for a product that doesn’t do anything. I don’t recommend this product.

2. Maybelline Instant age Rewind concealer

O tem izdelku sem slišala veliko dobrega. Veliko blogerk je ta korektor hvalilo in ker imam sama zelo temne podočnjake sem ga morala poskusit. Izdelek sem si naročila preko spleta in komaj sem čakala, da ga poskusim. Na mojo žalost sama nisem navdušena nad korektorjem. Najprej naj omenim embalažo. Čeprav je ideja mogoče dobra, pa mi izvedba ni všeč. Da dobim želeno količino produkta moram kar nekaj časa vrteti potisni sistem. Ko končno nekaj produkta pride na aplikator, ki je zelo nehigieničen, ga ne morem razmazati pod očmi, saj tako odstranim tekoči puder, katerega vedno nanesem prvega. Z aplikatorjem zato tapkam pod očmi in ker je aplikator precej trd, se mi zdi da naredim več škode kot koristi na tanki in občutljivi koži. Korektor sicer deloma zakrije moje temne podočnjake in predel pod očmi tudi osvetli, saj sem izbrala en odtenek svetlejšo barvo, kot je moj ten, pa se ne more primerjati z mojim korektorjem od MAC-a. Prav tako sem opazila, da se čez čas nabira v gubicah pod očmi. Korektor sem uporabila tri krat in zdi se mi, da kar izginja. Za korektor sem plačala 9€ in izdelka sigurno ne bom več nikoli kupila.

I heard a lot of good things about this product. A lot of bloggers praised this concealer and because I have dark under eyes circles I had to try it. I ordered it online and I couldn’t wait to try it. Sadly I don’t love it. First let’s start with the packaging. Although the idea may be good the performance isn’t. To get enough product out you have to twist the packaging for quite some time. Finally when the product gets to the applicator, which is really not hygienic, I can’t swipe it under my eyes, because I remove my foundation that I always apply first. I dab the applicator under my eyes instead but the sponge on it is really stiff so I think I do more damage than benefit to my thin and delicate skin. The concealer does partially cover my dark under eye circles and it also lightens the area under my eyes, because I choose one shade lighter than my skin tone, but it can’t even compare to my MAC concealer. I also noticed that it does crease in my wrinkles under my eyes. I used the concealer three times and it looks like it’s vanishing. I paid 9€ and I would not repurchase it.

3. Melvita Arganov oljni gel za prhanje

Čeprav sem nad kremo za roke in kremnim oljem za telo iz iste linije popolnoma navdušena, pa me je ta izdelek razočaral. Konsistenca tega gela ni olje, kot tudi ni tipičen gel, ampak je podobno želeju. Gel vsebuje naravne penilce, zato se tudi le malenkost speni. Jaz imam rada, če gel za tuširanje proizvede bogato peno. Gel bi naj tudi navlažil kožo, ampak pri meni je učinek ravno nasproten. Kožo mi izsuši. Resda imam kožo pozimi izredno občutljivo, ampak od tega gela sem vseeno pričakovala več. Na koži ne pušča filma in kožo verjetno dobro umije, ampak ravno zaradi tega, ker se slabo peni, je občutek na koži čuden. Vonj je nežen, diši najverjetneje kot argan, kar ne morem potrdit, saj ne vem kako argan diši. 🙂 Meni tale gel za prhanje ni všeč in sigurno ga več ne bom kupila. Cena je 16,30€ kar je več kot preveč za, po mojem mnenju, slab izdelek.

Although I love the hand cream and body oil in cream from the same line I don’t like this product. The consistency of this gel is not oil as it’s not a typical gel but it’s more like a jelly. The gel contains natural foaming agents so it only foams slightly. I love when shower gels produce a rich foam. It is supposed to be moisturizing but with me the effect was opposite. It dried out my skin. My skin is really sensitive in the winter but I expected more from this gel. It does not leave a film on the skin and it probably does clean the skin well, but because it foams poorly the feeling on my skin is weird. The scent is gentle, probably like argan, which I can’t confirm, because I have no idea how argan smells. 🙂 I don’t like this shower gel and I won’t repurchase it. The price is 16,30€ which is too much for, in my opinion, bad product.

Essence longlasting lipliner

Na te dolgo obstojne svinčnike sem naletela čisto slučajno. Ogledovala sem si izdelke od Essenca in ker še nisem našla barvic za ustnice, ki bi mi bile všeč, sem začela te preizkušati v trgovini. Zdele so se mi mehke in mazljive in odločila sem se kupiti eno, da jo preizkusim tudi na ustnicah. Najprej sem kupila rdečo, 01 ready for red. Iskreno me že dolgo ni produkt za ustnice tako navdušil, kot me je ta. Zaljubila sem se.

I came across these longlasting lipliners by accident. I was looking at the Essence products and because I haven’t found a lipliner that I liked, I started trying them in the store. They seemed very soft and applied easily so I decided to try one on my lips as well. First I bought a red one, 01 ready for red. Honestly it’s been a long time since a lip product impressed me this much. I fell in love.

Essence trdi, da je ta svinčnik dolgo obstojen, ima super mehko teksturo in intenzivne barve. Naj začnem s teksturo. Ta je res mehka in zelo lepo drsi čez ustnice. Svinčnik oziroma mina, saj je svinčnik mehanski, kar pomeni da šiljenje ni potrebno, je dovolj tanka, da lahko ustnice natančno očrtamo. V zakup je treba vzeti to, da se svinčnik malo hitreje porabi, ravno zaradi tega, ker je mehak, kar me nikakor ne moti, saj raje vidim, da se barva lepo nanese. Svinčnik je dolgo obstojen. Jaz sem ga imela na ustnicah 5 ur in čeprav je malo zbledel, sem vmes pila in jedla. Svinčnik zelo enakomerno bledi, tako da tudi po 5ih urah izgleda lepo na ustnicah. Čeprav piše, da lahko izbirate med devetimi barvami, sem v Mullerju našla samo 8 barv, kupila pa sem jih 7, saj najsvetlejše nisem kupila. Barve so res intenzivne. Izbirate lahko vse od nevtralnih odtenkov, rožnatih, rdečih in tudi vijoličnih. Finiš ni popolnoma mat, ampak je delno mat. Embalaža je plastična in take barve, kot je barvica notri.

Essence claims that this liner is longlasting, has a super soft texture and intensive colors. Let me start with the texture. It’s really soft and glides easily over the lips. The liner or mine, the liner is retractable which means that sharpening is not necessary, is thin enough so you can outline the lips accurately. Because the liner is soft you have to take into consideration that you will use it faster which doesn’t bother me, because I rather see that the color applies easy. The lipliner is longlasting. I had it on for about 5 hours and although it did fade away a bit, I ate and drank in that time. It fades evenly so even after 5 hours it looks really nice on the lips. It says you can choose between nine colors I found only eight in Muller and bought 7, because I didn’t buy the lightest one. The colors are intensive. You can choose between nudes, pinks, reds and even plums. The finish is not completely matte but demi-matte. The packaging is plastick and the same color as the liner inside.

Boljše je, da so ustnice zdrave, ko nanašamo barvico, čeprav ravno zaradi svoje mehkobe dopuščajo tudi majhno razpokanost (govorim iz izkušenj). Ustnic mi ne izsuši in tudi občutek na ustnicah je prijeten. Cena teh svinčnikov je smešno nizka, okoli 1,30€ v Mullerju. Moja najljubša barva je 07 plum cake in verjamem, da bo z mano še dolgo. 🙂 Bolj obsežne swatche si lahko ogledate tukaj.

It is better to have healthy lips when applying the lipliner although because the liner is soft it allows the lips to be slightly dry and chapped (talking from experinece). It doesn’t dry out my lips and it is comfortable to wear. The price is really low, around 1,30€ in Muller. My favorite color is 07 plum cake and I believe it will stay with me for a long time. 🙂 If you want to see extensive swatches click here.

Moja nega obraza

Naj začnem s tipom moje kože na obrazu. Moja koža je mešana. Torej T-predel imam masten (pa spet ne preveč masten, ampak normalno masten), kožo na licih pa imam normalno, pozimi suho. Ne pozabimo še na moje pore, ki so ogromne. Ravno zaradi tega, se moja nega obraza med poletjem in zimo razlikuje. Pozimi uporabljam malo bolj hranilne in vlažilne kreme, kot poleti, ravno zaradi tega, ker je moja koža na določenih predelih veliko bolj suha, kot poleti. Pa tudi masti se ne toliko, kot poleti. Z aknami nimam večjih težav, tu pa tam se pojavi kak manjši »izbruh«, ki je ponavadi povezan z nihanjem hormonov. Pa začnimo:

Let me start with my skin type. I have combination skin type which means that my T-zone is greasy (not too greasy, but normally greasy), the skin on my cheeks is normal, dry in the winter time. Let’s not forget my pores which are huge. Because of that my skin care routine differs between summer and winter time. In the winter I use a bit more moisturizing and nourishing creams than in the summer time, because my skin is drier on certain areas on my face in that time of the year. I don’t have problems with acne, I get a hormonal breakout every now and then. So let’s start:

1.a Vsak večer najprej umijem obraz. Če imam na sebi ličila, potem uporabim Melvitin peneči čistilni žele, če pa sem brez ličil pa obraz umijem z Nuxe Reve de Miel gelom za čiščenje obraza in odstranjevanje ličil. To je, kar se umivanja in odstranjevanja ličil tiče, pri meni vse.

1.a Every night I wash my face. If I have make-up on then I use the Melvita gentle cleansing jelly, but if I’m without make-up then I use Nuxe Reve de Miel face cleansing and make-up removing gel to wash my face. When it comes to cleansing my face, this is it.

1.b Na vsakih par dni naredim še piling obraza, s katerim odstranim odmrlo kožo. Uporabljam Soap & glory Scrub your nose in it, ki sicer ni moj najljubši, ampak še vedno iščem idealen piling za obraz.

1.b Every couple of days I exfoliate my face to remove dead skin cells. I use Soap & Glory Scrub your nose in it, which is not my favorite, but I’m still looking for the perfect face scrub.

2. Če menim, da nisem odstranila vseh ličil, potem uporabim Simple Kind to skin micelarno vodo, katero nanesem na vato in potegnem po predelih, kjer mislim, da je potrebno.

2. If I think that I haven’t removed all of the make-up then I use my Simple Kind to skin micellar cleansing water which I apply on a cotton pad and swipe the areas where I think is necessary.

3. Naslednji je losjon za obraz od The Body Shopa, Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Bi-phase essence lotion, ki je nujno potreben, da dodatno navlažim kožo. Ponavadi ga nanašam le na dele obraza, ki dodatno nego potrebujejo, torej na lica, T-predel v veliki večini časa preskočim.

3. Next is a lotion for the face from The Body Shop, Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Bi-phase essence lotion, which is necessary to additionally moisturize the skin. I usually apply it only to parts of the face that need extra care, therefore on the cheeks. I skip the T-zone most of the time.

4. Nato nanesem kremo za nego kože okoli oči, katero nanesem pod očmi in tudi na veko. Uporabljam Caudalie Vinosource creme S.O.S..

4. Then I apply my eye cream under the eyes and on my eyelids. I use Caudalie Vinosource creme S.O.S..

5. Na koncu nanesem še kremo za obraz od The Body Shopa, Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising cream, ki je sicer lahka krema in v trenutkih, ko potrebujem malo več, potem nanesem losjon iz 3. koraka po celem obrazu.

5. Last but not the least is my face moisturizer from The Body Shop, Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising cream, which is a light cream, so in moments when I need a little bit more I apply the lotion from step 3. all over the face.

Enkrat na teden tudi uporabim masko za obraz, The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy sleeping mask, in takrat preskočim 5. korak, kajti s to masko tudi spim. Prav tako uporabljam Lushevo Cup O’coffee masko, ki je zamenjala mojo Brazened honey svežo masko po dobrih 8ih letih uporabe. Takrat uporabim kremo kot ponavadi. Once a week I use a face mask, The Body Shop Drop of Youth Bouncy sleeping mask, and in that case I skip step 5, because I sleep with that mask. I also use the Lush Cup O’coffee mask, that replaced my Brazened honey fresh mask after 8 years of use. In that case I use my moisturizer as usual. I will review the Lush Cup O’coffee mask soon. Lush The Experimenter

Lush Experimenter me je pritegnil zaradi videza. Kopalna bombica je šesterokotnik, modre in rozaste na eni in bele ter rumene barve na drugi strani. Obe polovici sta zalepljeni skupaj z vijolično plastjo. Tudi samo ime je zanimivo: Experimenter. Eksperiment. Hm…le zakaj se imenuje tako? 🙂 Radovednost me je seveda premagala in kaj hitro sem jo poskusila. Glavna nota je vanilija, ki mi zelo lepo diši, če le ne diši umetno.

Lush Experimenter attracted me because of it’s appearance. The bath bomb is a hexagon, blue and pink on one and white and yellow on the other side. Both halves are glued together with a purple layer. The name itself is interesting: Experimenter. Experiment. Why is it named like that? 🙂 Curiosity got the best of me and I had to try it. The main note is vanilla, which I like as long as it doesn’t smell artificially.

Sama bombica meni ne diši po vaniliji. Diši po Lushu. 🙂 Vsi, ki poznate Lush, veste o čem govorim. Bombica je mešanica cvetličnega, sadnega in sladkega vonja, kjer nič ne izstopa, ampak note sodelujejo druga z drugo. Vonj je blag in na koži se obdrži par ur. Gledanje te bombice kako se topi v vodi je pravo doživetje. Iz bombice na gladini vode plešejo rumena, modra, rožnata barva, ki se skupaj mešajo v zeleno, potem modro zeleno in na koncu v temno zeleno barvo. Ker so v bombici drobne bleščice se te v vodi svetlikajo in se tudi prilepijo na kožo. Kožo je potrebno dobro umiti po kopanju, če ne želite da bleščice ostanejo na koži.

The bomb itself doesn’t smell like vanilla. It smells like Lush. 🙂 Everyone that is familiar with Lush knows what I’m talking about. The bomb is a mixture of flowery, fruity and sweet scent, where nothing stands out, but the notes work together. The scent is mild and stays on the skin for a few hours. Watching this bomb fizzing in the water is a true adventure. The bomb makes yellow, blue and pink color dance together on the surface and then mix together into a green, then blue green and lastly dark green color. Since the bath bomb does contain shimmer, the water sparkles and the shimmer does stick to your skin. You do need to wash thoroughly after bathing if you don’t want the shimmer to stay on the skin.

Kože mi ne izsuši, kar je vedno plus, še posebej pozimi, ko je moja koža izredno občutljiva. Za kopalno bombico sem odštela 6,95€ kar se mi za občasno razvajanje ne zdi veliko in jaz jo bom še sigurno kupila.

It doesn’t dry out my skin, which is always a plus, especially in the winter time, when my skin is extremely sensitive. I paid 6,95€ which is OK for an occasional indulgence. See the bomb in action in the video above.

Kardashian Beauty Honey Stick lip gloss

Naj začnem z izjavo, da gledam Kardashianove in super so mi, ampak ko se gre za njihove izdelke sem malo bolj skeptična. Prav tako sem bila pri teh glosih. Ocene na spletu so bile mešane in čeprav bi jih lahko naročila na internetu jih nisem. Potem pa sem enega slučajno zagledala v trgovini T.K. Maxx v Seiersbergu v Avstriji. Barva mi je bila všeč, pa tudi cena se mi je dopadla (5€). In sem ga kupila. Prvi, katerega sem kupila je bil Raw Honey. Raw Honey je nevtralne barve, ki povleče rahlo na roza z drobnim šimrom in metalik finišem. Kar pa zmaga pri tem glosu pa sta vonj in okus. Glos diši po medu in tudi sladek je na okus. Sama obožujem med in glos se mi je zato hitro prikupil. Glos da ustnicam lep lesk in jih rahlo obarva. Ustnice mi navlaži kar je samo dodaten plus.

Ker mi je bil Raw Honey tako všeč sem ob naslednjem obisku kupila še Wildflower Honey, ki je bolj rožnato nevtralen z modrim šimrom, ki pa na ustnicah ni viden. Ta odtenek na mojih ustnicah ne izstopa, ker so moje ustnice precej obarvane. Glos da lep lesk, ustnice izgledajo zdrave in kot moje ustnice le boljše. 🙂 Glosta nista lepljiva se pa obdržita na ustnicah kar nekaj časa (2-3 ure, če ne jem). Če ne marate medu in vonja po medu potem predlagam, da ga kar preskočite, saj je vonj res močan. Izbirate lahko med osmimi odtenki, vse od svetlih nevtralnih do tudi bolj rožnatih in temnih oziroma živahnih barv.

Let me start by saying that I watch the Kardashians and I love them, but when it comes to their products I’m a bit more skeptic as I was with these glosses. The reviews online were mixed and although I could have ordered them online, I didn’t. Then I accidentally saw one in T.K. Maxx in Seiersberg in Austria. I liked the color and the price (5€) so I bought it. The first I bought was Raw Honey. Raw Honey is neutral, slightly pinkish with shimmer and a metallic finish. What makes this glosses great are the scent and taste. The gloss smells like honey and it even tastes sweet. I love honey and this gloss grew on me really fast. It gives a really nice shine and colors the lips slightly. It also moisturizes the lips which is a plus.

Because I liked Raw Honey that much I bought Wildflower Honey in the next shopping trip. Wildflower Honey is more pink neutral with a blue shift which is not visible on the lips. This shade doesn’t stand out on my lips, because my lips are pretty pigmented. The gloss gives a nice shine, the lips look healthy and like my lips but better. 🙂 The glosses are not sticky but they stay on the lips for quite some time (2-3 hours if I don’t eat). If you don’t like honey or the scent of it then I suggest that you stay away from these, because the scent is strong. You can choose between eight shades, from light neutral to more pinkish and dark or bright colors.

Naravna svetloba brez fleša / Natural light without flash

Embalaža je dolga prozorna tuba z napisom in okraski v rožnato zlati barvi, kar je meni super všeč. Aplikator je tipična gobica, ki dobro opravi svoje delo. Jaz glose priporočam in sama bom sigurno še nabavila kakšno barvo. Na moji listi želja je še Cherry Blossom Honey, ki je najbolj živahno rožnat. The packaging is a long transparent tube with rose gold lettering and decorations, which I really like. The applicator is a typical doe foot and it does the job. Glosa sta mi super všeč in vedno imam vsaj enega v torbici, saj sta odlična za vsak dan. Oba glosa rada kombiniram tudi z Rimmelovo šminko Airy Fairy.

I love these glosses and I always have at least one in my bag, because they are great for everyday use. I like to apply both glosses over Rimmels Airy Fairy lipstick.

Osnovni čopiči za ličenje

Veliko prijateljic me vedno sprašuje, katere čopiče potrebujejo, zakaj jih potrebujejo ipd. Zaradi tega sem se odločila, da naredim kratki vodič na to temo. Sama sem v mnogih letih ličenja nabrala že kar lepo število čopičev, tako za oči, kot tudi za obraz.

A lot of my girlfriends always ask which brushes do they need, why they need them etc. Because of that I decided to do a short guide on that subject. In my many years of using make-up I have accumulated a nice number of brushes for the eyes as well as for the face.

Če začnem s čopiči za obraz. Prvi čopič, ki ga potrebujete (če ne želite uporabljati gobice za nanos tekočega pudra) je čopič s katerim boste nanesle tekočo podlago. Teh je veliko vrst, oblik, vsaka znamka ima najmanj enega v ta namen. Čopič naj bo dovolj velik, da bo z lahkoto razmazal puder po obrazu in hkrati dovolj majhen, da bomo lahko z njim dosegle predel pod očmi in okoli nosu. Ščetine naj bodo goste, tako da čopič ne bo vsrkal preveč produkta, ampak ga bo le razporedil po obrazu. Moj najljubši v ta namen je Zoeva 102 Silk finish.

Let me start with the face brushes. The first brush you need (if you don’t want to use a sponge to apply foundation) is a foundation brush. There are a lot of different shapes, types, of these brushes and every company has at least one brush for this purpose. The brush should be big enough so that it spreads the foundation easily and at the same time small enough so you can reach under the eyes and around the nose. The bristles should be dense so that the brush doesn’t absorb the product, just spread it around the face. My favorite for this purpose is Zoeva 102 Silk finish.

Nato potrebujete čopič s katerim boste fiksirale tekoči puder s pudrom v kamnu ali prahu. Ta naj bo čimbolj puhast, ščetine naj bodo daljše, tako da ne boste nanesle več produkta kot je potrebno. Nasvet: vedno otresite čopič na katerem imate puder, da vse kar je odveč otresete s ščetin. Jaz uporabljam Ecotools čopič za puder, ki je bil del seta.

Then you need a powder brush that will be used to set the foundation with a loose or pressed powder. This brush should be fluffy, the bristles longer, so that you don’t apply more product than needed. Advice: Always tap the brush so you remove any excess product from the bristles. I use an Ecotools powder brush that was part of a set.

In še zadnji čopič za obraz, ki je »nujen« za začetnike, je čopič za rdečilo. Priporočam spet bolj puhast čopič, da ne nanesete preveč produkta na lička iz prve, ampak produkt dodajate postopoma, če je potrebno. Meni najljubši so tisti, ki imajo pod kotom odrezane ščetine, raje malo daljše ščetine, kot prekratke in sam čopič ne sme biti večji od ličk, tako da rdečila ne nanesemo na dele obraza, kjer se naj ne bi nahajalo. Jaz priporočam Zoeva 127 Luxe Sheer cheek.

 

Lastly you »need« a blush brush for the face. Again I recommend a more fluffy brush, so you don’t apply too much product at once, but you can still add more if needed. My favorites are the ones that are angled, rather longer than shorter bristles and the brush shouldn’t be bigger than your cheek so you don’t apply the blush on the parts of your face where it shouldn’t be. I recommend the Zoeva 127 Luxe Sheer cheek.

Za začetek se mi zdi to dovolj. Korektor še vedno lahko nanesete s čopičem za tekoči puder (tudi zato naj ne bo čopič preširok) ali pa s prsti. Osvetljevalec tudi lahko nanesete s prsti, kvečjemu si lahko omislite še kabuki, ki je čopič za nanos bronzerja čez cel obraz.

I think that this is enough to start with. You can still apply the concealer with fingers or the foundation brush (that’s also why the brush shouldn’t be to big). You can apply the highlighter with fingers as well. An option is a kabuki brush, which is used for applying bronzer all over the face.

Preidimo na čopiče za oči. Prvi čopič, ki ga potrebujete je čopič za nanos senčila čez celo veko. Ta čopič naj bo ploščat, ne predebel, ščetine so lahko kratke ali tudi daljše. Pomembno je, da velikost čopiča prilagodite velikosti veke. Ker je ta čopič ploščat, ga lahko uporabite tudi za poglobitev barve v gubi veke tako, da senčilo zajamete z vrhom čopiča in le tega postavite navpično na veko in tako bolj natančno nanesete senčilo v gubo. Moj najljubši v ta namen je Zoeva 234 Luxe Smoky shader.

Now let’s move to eye brushes. The first brush you need is an eyeshadow brush for all over the eyelid. This brush should be flat, not too thick, the bristles can be short or long. It is important that you adapt the size of the brush to the size of your eyelid. Because this brush is flat you can also use it to deepen the crease so that you pick the product up with the tip of the brush and put it vertically on the eyelid so you apply the eyeshadow directly in the crease of the eyelid. My favorite for this purpose is the Zoeva 234 Luxe Smoky shader.

Drugi čopič, ki ga potrebujete je čopič s katerim boste v očesno gubo nanesle prehodno svetlejšo barvo ali temnejšo barvo za poglobitev. Ta naj bo okrogel, z daljšimi ščetinami in srednje gost. Pomembno je, da ni pretrdi, tako da se bo dalo senčilo lepo razmazati oziroma blendati. S tem čopičem lahko tudi osvetlite predel pod obrvmi, ampak ga ne pozabiti očistiti, če ste ga uporabile za temnejšo barvo.

The second brush you need is a brush to apply a lighter or darker transition shade also called a blending brush. This one should be round, with longer bristles and semi dense. It’s important that it’s not too dense, so it will smudge/blend the eyeshadow easily. You can also use this brush to apply the highlighter shade under the brow bone, just don’t forget to clean it up if you used it with a darker color.

Nazadnje potrebujete še čopič za črtalo, s katerim boste torej lahko nanesle črtalo, lahko pa ga boste tudi uporabile za nanos senčila pod spodnjo veko, saj je čopič dovolj majhen in tanek, da to delo opravi učinkovito. Tukaj ne morem, da ne bi omenila čopič, ki se je znašel tudi na lestvici mojih najljubših izdelkov za leto 2015 in sicer Zoeva 317 wing liner čopič. So pa tudi čopiči ostalih proizvajalcev zelo dobri in učinkoviti.

Lastly you need a liner brush that you will use to apply eyeliner or to apply eyeshadow below the lower lash line, because the brush is small and thin enough to do this effectively. Here it’s hard not to mention the brush that made my favorite products list for the year 2015 and that is Zoeva 317 Wing liner brush, but the other liner brushes from other manufacturers are also very good and effective.

Če ste torej začetnice, potem je v mojih očeh teh 6 (7) čopičev dovolj. Dobri so tudi seti čopičev, ki po veliki večini ponujajo čopiče za cel obraz ali pa so razdeljeni na sete za obraz in sete za oči.

If you are a begginer then these 6 (7) brushes are enough if you ask me. Also a good choice are brush sets that usually offer brushes for the whole face or are divided into face brush sets and eye brush sets.

Naglasiti moram, da na noben način nisem povezana z Zoevo, ampak njihovi izdelki se mi zdijo res odlični, glede na ceno in pri meni so številka ena, zato jih tudi vedno omenjam. Vedno pa lahko izberete druge proizvajalce, druge cenovne razrede, karkoli se vam zdi primerno. Pri čopičih se hitro zgodi, da jih potrebujete vedno več in več, ampak priporočam, da preden karkoli kupite, vedno pogledate ocene izdelkov na internetu. Zoeva čopiče lahko kupite na njihovi uradni spletni strani ali v Douglas drogeriji v Avstriji, Ecotools čopiče je včasih imela Tuševa drogerija, ampak trenutno res ne vem če jih imajo še ali ne. I need to accentuate that I am in no way affiliated with Zoeva I just really like their products and think they are great for the price and in my eyes they are No. 1 so that is why I always mention them. You can always chooce other manufacturers, other price ranges, anything that you find appropriate. With brushes it’s always easy to need more and more but I recommend that before you buy anything you always check online reviews first. You can find Zoeva brushes on their official web page or in Douglas in Austria. Tuš drugstore used to have Ecotools, but I honestly don’t know if they still sell them. You can find brushes in our local drugstores as well (Muller, D&M) and you can always buy them online (I buy a lot on these web sites: Beauty Bay, Feelunique, Look fantastic, Beauty Expert).  I use a lot of brushes and if you would like me to write about this toppic even more just leave me a comment. Moji najljubši izdelki leta 2015 #2

Tukaj je še druga skupina izdelkov, ki so bili moji najljubši v letu 2015. V tej skupini boste našli ličila in izdelke, katere potrebujemo za ličenje. Prva skupina mojih najljubših izdelkov se nahaja tukaj. Pa začnimo! 😉

Here is the second group of products that were my favorites in the year 2015. This group will include make-up and products we need to apply it. You can find the first group of my favorite products here. Let’s start! 😉

1. BEAUTY BLENDER

Leta in leta sem bila privrženka nanosa tekočega pudra s čopiči, dokler se nisem končno odločila poskusit s to gobico. Kupila sem jo lani januarja in od takrat uporabljam čopič za nanos samo ko potujem, ker gobica oziroma »jajčka« se mora prej posušiti preden jo lahko pospravim. Ne bom razlagala kako se uporabi, rekla bom samo to: Potrebujete jo. 🙂 Jaz sem v enem letu kupila 2, kar pomeni, da mi ena, ob pravilni uporabi, čiščenju, zdrži pol leta, mogoče tudi več.

For years I was a fan of applying foundation with brushes untill I finally decided to try out this sponge. I bought it in January last year and since then I use a brush to apply foundation only when I’m traveling, because the sponge needs to dry before I can pack it. I won’t explain how to use it but I will say this: You need it. 🙂 I bought 2 in a year, which means that one, when properly used and cleaned, will last mi 6 months, maybe even more.

2. ZOEVA 317 ČOPIČ ZA ČRTALO / 317 WING LINER

Ker so Zoeva čopiči moji najljubši čopiči, je edino prav, da vsaj enega omenim. Dolgo sem razmišljala kateri je moj najljubši in končno sem se odločila, da je to čopič za črtalo št. 317. Ker je čopič tanek in odrezan pod večjim kotom, kot so čopiči za črtalo ponavadi, je lažje narediti »wing liner«. Jaz uporabljam ta čopič tako za gel liner kot tudi za delanje črte s senčilom. Zame je ta čopič res top.

Since Zoeva brushes are my favorite brushes it’s only right that I mention al least one. I thought long and hard about which brush is my favorite and I finally decided that it’s the 317 liner brush. Since the bristles are thin and cut in a greater angle than liner brushes usually are, it’s easier to do a winged liner. I use this brush for gel liner as for creating a line with eyeshadow. For me this brush is the bomb.

3. ESSENCE GEL MASCARA MAKE ME BROW EYEBROW

Moje obrvi ne zahtevajo preveč dela, ampak malo jih moram vseeno uredit in ta izdelek je ravno pravšnji. Obarvan gel vsebuje drobna vlakna, ki zapolnijo obrvi, gel pa jih utrdi da le-te ostanejo na mestu. Gel nanašam v nasprotni smeri rasti obrvi, da se vlakna boljše oprimejo obrvi, nato pa še v smeri rasti, da jih počešem. Na voljo sta 2 barvi, jaz uporabljam temnejšo rjavo in mi popolnoma ustreza. Gel uporabljam vsak dan, ko nosim ličila in je zame top izdelek za urejanje obrvi.

My eyebrows do not require too much work but I still need to groom them a bit and this product is just right for that. The colored gel containes tiny fibers that fill the eyebrows, the gel itself makes them stay in place. I apply the gel in the opposite direction of the growth so the fibers in the gel stick to the eyebrows and then in the direction of the growth to comb them. There are 2 colors to schoose from and I use the darker one which fits me perfectly. I use the gel every time I wear make-up and for me this is a top product for my brows.

4. CATRICE LUMINIZING OSVETLJEVALEC / LUMINIZING HIGHLIGHTER (LUMINATION LIMITED EDITION)

Čeprav je ta izdelek iz omejene kolekcije ga enostavno moram omeniti, saj je par mesecev bil edini osvetljevalec, katerega sem uporabljala. Osvetljevalec je bež barve s temnejšim marmoriranjem in z nevtralnim podtonom. Ni pudrast, lepo se nanaša in super osvetli predele obraza. Ker je nevtralen ga lahko uporabim ne glede na to kakšen za make-up izgled sem se odločila. Čeprav sem ga uporabljala skoraj vsak dan par mesecev, se poraba komajda pozna. Catrice je izdal nov osvetljevalec, ki izgleda podobno, vendar ga še nisem uspela primerjat, da bi vam lahko povedala, če bo nadomestil tega.

Although this item is from a limited edition collection I still have to mention it, because for a few months this was the only highlighter I used. The highlighter is beige with darker marbling and neutral undertones. It’s not powdery, it applies nicely and it highlights the face really well. Since it’s neutral I can use it with any kind of make-up look I decide. Although I used it almost every day for a few weeks I can barely see any usage. Catrice came out with a new highlighter that looks very similar, but I hadn’t had the chance to try it out to let you know if it’s going to replace this one.

5. MAYBELLINE SHINE FREE LOOSE POWDER

O tem pudru nisem slišala veliko. V oko mi je padel, ko ga je ena blogerka omenila v svojem videu. Odločila sem se da ga poskusim in še dobro, da sem ga. Puder je zelo fino mlet, dobro matira in je skoraj neviden na koži. Jaz ga uporabim vsakič, da fiksiram tekoči puder in da matiram obraz. Čeprav imam mastno T območje, mi ta puder pomaga, da ostanem mat vsaj par ur, preden potrebujem popravek. Tudi ko ga naknadno nanesem še vedno izgleda zelo naravno. Puder je obarvan, jaz ga imam v odtenku 01 light (svetlo).

I didn’t hear much about this powder. I saw it when a beauty blogger mentioned it in a video. I decided to try it out and it’s a good thing I did. The powder is finely milled, mattifies good and is almost invisible on the skin. I use it everytime to set my fundation and to mattify my face. Although my T zone is greasy, this powder really helps me stay matte for at least few hours before I need to reapply. Even when I reapply it it still looks natural. The powder is colored and I have it in the color 01 light.

6. MAC – RDEČILO MARGIN / MARGIN BLUSH

MAC rdečila poznam in uporabljam že dolgo. Tega nisem. Na prvi pogled mogoče ne izgleda nič posebnega. Bež, rahlo bronasto rdečilo s toplimi podtoni. Ko pa sem začela malo raziskovati po spletu in sem videla kako dejansko izgleda na koži pa sem ga morala imeti. Barvo opisujejo kot breskvo z drobnimi zlatimi bleščicami in s frost finišem. Na licu bleščic ne zaznam, samo lep sijaj. Barva je primerna za poletno zagorelo kožo, kot tudi pozimi za »otoplitev« obraza. Jaz ga uporabljam za naravni izgled, torej ko imam na sebi le korektor, maskaro in Margin na licih. Jaz več ne potrebujem za vsakdan.

I’ve known and used MAC blushes for long. Not this one. At first sight it doesn’t look special. Beige, a bit bronzy with warm undertones. When I started exploring online and saw how it actually looks on the skin I knew I had to have it. They describe the color as a warm peach with gold shimmer and a frost finish. I can’t see the shimmer on the cheeks, just a nice shine. The color is suitable for skin with a summer tan as well as in the winter time to warm up the cheeks. I use it for a natural look, when I have only a corrector, mascara and Margin on the cheeks. I don’t need anything more for an everyday look.

7. NYX SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM

Tudi ta izdelek ni nov pa kljub temu je bil pri meni to leto skoz v uporabi. Kupila sem 3 barve (Morocco, Prague in Stockholm ). Morroco je bila v uporabi skozi poletje, saj je lepa živo oranžna, Prague je bila v uporabi celo jesen, Stockholm pa kadarkoli sem želela bolj nevtralne ustnice. Šminka se lepo razmazuje, ne posuši se prehitro, tako da nanos ni otežen, ko se pa posuši se več ne prenaša ni pa odporna na hrano ali pijačo, tako da so popravki čez čas potrebni. Šminka ima mat finiš, ustnic mi ne izsuši in bledi enakomerno. Aplikator je gobica in je dovolj natančen, da jih lahko nanesem tudi brez barvice za ustnice. Jaz sem moje kupila na Ebayu, imajo jih tudi v Douglasu v Avstriji.

This product is not new as well but I used it the whole year. I bought 3 colors (Morocco, Prague and Stockholm ). I used Morocco the whole summer because it’s a bright orange color, Prague the whole autumn and Stockholm when I wanted a more nude lip. The lipstick spreads evenly, it doesn’t dry too fast, so the application is easy. When the lipstick dries it does not transfer but it’s not resistant to eating or drinking so I do need to reapply after a time. The lipstick has a matte finish, it doesn’t dry my lips out and it fades evenly. It has a doe foot applicator which is precise enough so I can apply the cream even without a lip pencil. I bought my on Ebay, but they have them in Douglas in Austria as well.

8. ESSIE FIFTH AVENUE

Essie lake poznam že dolgo. Po kvaliteti so kar visoko v mojih očeh, saj so obstojni in se po večini lepo nanašajo. Poleti sem iskala oranžno rdeči lak in punce na slovenskem forumu Planet Lepote so mi predlagale tega. Nisem potrebovala veliko prepričevanja in lak je šel z menoj. Od prvega trenutka, ko sem ga uporabila, je bila ljubezen na prvi pogled. Kadarkoli sem ga uporabila sem vedno dobila veliko komplimentov in večino poletja in jeseni je bil to edini lak, katerega sem uporabljala.

I’ve known about Essie nail polishes for a long time. They rank quite high by the quality in my eyes, because they resist chipping for a long time and they usually apply really nicely. I was looking for a orange red polish in the summer and the girls from the Slovenian forum Planet Lepote suggested this one. I did not need much persuasion and I took it home with me. It was love at first sight from the moment I tried it. Anytime I would use it I would get a lot of compliments and it was the only polish I used in the summer and autumn time.

9. URBAN DECAY NAKED 3

Paleto sem imela dolgo na listi želja, dokler mi je sestra ni uresničila in kupila januarja za rojstni dan. Paleta ni nova, tako da jo sigurno že dobro poznate, swatchev je ogromno na internetu, tako da jih jaz ne bom delala. Jaz jo uporabljam za vsakodnevni izgled, večerni izgled, v glavnem primerna je za vse situacije. Senčke so dobro pigmentirane, primerno mehke, se dobro nanašajo in razmazujejo oziroma »blendajo«. Paleto sem uporabljala večino časa v letu 2015 in zato je tudi pristala med mojimi najljubšimi izdelki.

I had this palette on my wish list for a long time, untill my sister bought it for me for my birthday in January. The palette is not new so you probably already heard about it and there is a bunch of swatches on the internet so I won’t be doing them. I use it for an everyday look, night time look, it’s generally suitable for any situations. The shadows are nicely pigmented, soft, they apply and blend easilly. I used this palette most of the time in 2015 and that’s also why it landed among my favorite products.

10. THE BALM DESERT BRONZER

Odkar so mi vzeli iz prodaje najljubši bronzer (Too Faced Peach Leopard bronzer) sem iskala nekaj vsaj približno podobnega. Takoj, ko sem ga zagledala sem vedela, da čeprav ni identičen nadomestek, je pa nekaj, kar lahko uporabljam kot bronzer ali tudi kot rdečilo in bronzer v enem. Bronzer je srednje temen, rozasto rjav s toplimi podtoni in sijajem. Barva se lepo prenaša na lice in se lahko z dodatnim nanosom še poglobi. Hitro je pristal na prvem mestu med mojimi bronzerji in mislim, da bo tam nekaj časa tudi ostal.

Since they discontinued my favorite bronzer (Too Faced Peach Leopard bronzer) I was looking for something similar. As soon as I saw this one I knew that although it’s not going to be an identical dupe it is something that I can use as a bronzer or even as a blush and bronzer in one. The bronzer in medium dark, rosy brown with warm undertones and a luminous finish. The color transfers nicely to the cheek and can be deepened with a heavier application. It quickly landed in first place among my bronzers and I think that it will stay there for a while.

Novi Zoeva produkti

Zoeva bo čez par dni, natančneje 11. januarja, izdala The Spectrum kolekcijo, ki bo vsebovala tri palete s štirimi rdečili in tri palete s petnajstimi senčili. Palete so razdeljene glede na barvne odtenke in sicer na toplo, hladno in nevtralno paleto senčil. Palete bodo vsebovale senčila z različnimi finiši in v vsaki paleti bo dovolj velik nabor barv za različne izglede. Cena palete s senčili bo 35€.

Zoeva is in a few days, more exact on January 11th, launching The Spectrum Collection which is going to include three palettes with four blushes and three palettes with fifteen eyeshadows. The palettes are divided according to color undertones exactly to warm, cold and nude eyeshadow palettes. The palettes will contain eyeshadows with different finishes and each palette will have a large set of colors for different looks. The price is going to be 35€. Palete z rdečili so razdeljene na rozasto, koralno in nevtralno paleto. Paleta bo vsebovala mat in satenast finiš, cena bo pa 18€.

The blush palettes are divided to a pink, coral and nude palette. The palette will include matte and satin finishes, the price is going to be 18€. Jaz imam že par izdelkov izbranih. Kaj pa vi? 🙂
