Urban Decay: Beached Bronzer

Odkar je ta bronzer v prodaji, nisem še slišala ene osebe, da bi rekla karkoli slabega čez njega. Zato sem ga tudi sama kupila, da vidim, če je res tako dober. In da, je. Mislim, da lahko brez slabe vesti rečem, da je to najboljši produkt vseh produktov, ki sem ga kdajkoli imela, uporabljala, kupila. Tako je. Najboljši.

Since this bronzer has been sold, I haven’t heard one person saying anything bad about it. This is why I bought it myself, to see, if it’s really that good. And yes, it is. I think I can say with confidence, that this is the best product of all products I have ever had, used, bought. That’s right. The best.

Pri meni ni poletja, jeseni, zime, pomladi, brez bronzerja. Uporabljam ga vedno. Uporabljam ga za senčenje obraza in da obrazu dodam malo barve, saj sem precej svetlopolta. Sama sem se odločila za temnejši odtenek Bronzed, saj poleti, ko bom malce zagorela, bom potrebovala nekaj temnejšega. Nisem pa nikoli pričakovala, da bo ta bronzer dober tudi za čas, ko sem svetlejše polti.

For me there’s no summer, autumn, winter, spring, without a bronzer. I always use it. I use it to contour my face and to give my face a bit of color, since I have a pretty light skin tone. I decided to go with the darker shade Bronzed, because in the summer, when I’m a bit more tanned, I’ll need something darker. I’ve never expected that this bronzer will also be good for the time, when I’m lighter.

Bronzer ima čudovito embalažo. Priznam, da sem ga kupila tudi zaradi tega. Embalaža je okrogla, s pokrovom na poklop. Le-ta je bronaste barve s prelepo sliko palm na pokrovu. Čudovito. 🙂 V notranjosti je tudi ogledalo. Dobimo 9g produkta, kar je veliko in verjetno bo dovolj za kar nekaj časa.

The bronzer has a beautiful packaging. I admitt, that I bought it for the packaging as well. The packaging is round, with a lid. It’s a bronzy colored compact with a gorgeous image of palms on the lid. Stunning. 🙂 There’s a mirror on the inside as well. We get 9g of product, which is a lot and will probably be enough for quite some time.

Bronzer je ravno prav mehak in čudovit na otip. Kot maslo. Bronzer je mat, kar meni odgovarja, ravno zaradi tega, ker obraz z njim tudi senčim. Čopič brez težav zajame produkt in ga enakomerno nanese na obraz. Kar je najboljše pri tem produktu je to, da ne glede na to kako težko roko imate pri nanosu, vedno ga boste lahko razmazale/zblendale dovolj, da bo izgledalo naravno. Jaz ga uporabljam čisto vsak dan, ostali bronzerji pa so trenutno na pavzi. Čeprav izgleda precej topel pa je na koži čudovit, tako da menim, da ga lahko uporabljate vsi, ne glede na podton.

The bronzer is soft enough and wonderful to the touch. Like butter. The bronzer is matte and I like it, because I also contour with it. The brush easily captures the product and applies it evenly on the face. What’s great with this product is that no matter how heavy you hand is while applying, you’ll always be able to blend it enough for it to look natural. I use it every single day, the other bronzers are on a break. Although it looks pretty warm it’s gorgeous on the skin, so I think that anyone can use it, no matter the undertone.

Sama sem imela plan za zimo kupiti svetlejši odtenek, Sunkissed, ampak mislim, da bom kar ostala pri tem, saj po mojem mnenju s tem bronzerjem ne morete izgledati nenaravno. 😀 Naročila sem ga v Doulgasu (Avstrija) in zanj odštela 29€. Resda ni malo, ampak iskreno lahko rečem, da se splača. Prav tako ga lahko naročite na FeelUnique za 26,40€.

I myself had a plan to buy the lighter shade, Sunkissed, for the winter, but I think that I’ll just stick to this one, because in my opinion you can’t look unnatural with this bronzer. 😀 I ordered it in Douglas (Austria) and paid 29€. It’s true that the price is quite high, but I can honestly say, that it’s worth it. You can also order it on FeelUnique for 26,40€.

Clinique: Beyond perfecting foundation + concealer

Moja logika je sledeča: če se že ličim, potem rada prekrijem vse napake. In ker imam zadnje čase grozne težave s kožo, potrebujem nekaj bolj prekrivnega, kot mi je to nudil Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum puder. Tale puder sem videla pri mnogih vlogerkah, ki so ga vse pohvalile in sem se odločila, da ga poskusim.

My logic is as follows: if I’m already putting make-up on, then I want to cover everything. And because I have been having terrible skin problems recently, I need something with more coverage, than my Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation was giving me. I saw this foundation in a lot of beauty vlogs, and because everyone was praising it, I decided to try it out. 

Puder je v stekleni embalaži z aplikatorjem na gobico, podobno kot so korektorji, le da je tukaj aplikator veliko večji, ter z belim napisom. Meni je embalaža všeč, saj je učinkovita, čeprav imam še vedno najraje embalaže s pumpico. Zanima me kako učinkovita bo ta, ko bom imela še čisto malo produkta notri. A o tem ko pridemo do tega.

The foundation is in a glass container with white lettering and a doe foot applicator, similar like in concealers, just that the applicator here is much bigger. I like the packaging, because it’s effective, although I prefer to have a pump. I do wonder how effective this packaging will be, when there’s almost no product in it. But I’ll worry about that when I’ll need to.

Imam odtenek je 02 Alabaster, ki je zame malenkost pretemen oziroma pretopel. Izbira odtenkov pri nas, je po mojem mnenju obupna. Tiste, ki imate izredno svetlo kožo boste težko prišle do svojega odtenka. Jaz ga ponavadi pri bradi zmešam z drugim, svetlejšim, pudrom, tako da ni taka razlika med vratom in obrazom. Sama bi potrebovala pol odtenka svetlejši puder z neutralnim podtonom. A tega žal ni, saj svetlejšega od tega pri nas nisem našla, čeprav je na uradni strani veliko več odtenkov na izbiro.

I have the shade 02 Alabaster, which is a bit too dark, warm for me. The shade selection is in my opinion terrible. If you have very light skin, you’ll have a difficult time to match your shade. I usually mix this one with a lighter one at the chin, so there’s not a big difference between the face and neck. I myself would need half a shade lighter foundation with a neutral undertone. But I haven’t found a lighter shade than this one in our stores, although there’s many more shades to pick from on the official website.

Tekoči puder nanesem direktno na obraz z aplikatorjem. Ponavadi aplikator namočim 3x za cel obraz. Res je, da je čisto malo produkta dovolj za cel obraz, ampak jaz pač rada pretiravam. 😉 Puder je izredno prekriven, tako da so tudi najhujši izbruhi prekriti. Prekrivnost lahko povečate z dodatnim nanosom produkta. Produkt je precej gost. Na začetku sem ga razmazovala z Beauty Blenderjem a mi izgled ni bil všeč, zato sem poskusila s čopičem in sedaj ne uporabljam več drugega. Prekrivnost s čopičem je prav tako večja, kot z gobico.

I apply the foundation directly to the face with the applicator. I usually dip the applicator 3x in the foundation, for the whole face. It’s true, that a little goes a long way, but I like to exaggerate. 😉 The foundation has a really great (full) coverage, so even the worst outbreaks are covered. The coverage can be increased by additional application of the product. The product is pretty thick. In the beginning I blended the foundation with the Beauty Blender, but I didn’t like the look, so I tried with a brush and now I don’t use anything else. The coverage with the brush is much better.

Puder je opazen na koži. Ni eden tistih, ki se zlijejo v kožo in je, kot da nič nimaš na obrazu a vseeno ne pušča težkega občutka na koži. Jaz ga fiksiram s pudrom v prahu, saj le-ta ni mat. Zdi se mi, da se relativno hitro porablja, ampak spet je to odvisno od tega, koliko ga nanesete. Jaz ga nanesem veliko. Moram opozoriti, da je viden bel odsev, pri slikanju z bliskavico.

The foundation is visible on the skin. It’s not one of those, that blends into the skin and it’s like you have nothing on your face, but it still doesn’t leave a heavy feeling on the skin. I set it with a loose powder, because it’s not fully matte. I do feel that I’m using it up quite fast, but again it depends on how much you apply. I do apply a lot. I have to point out that there is white cast/flash back, when photographing with flash.

S pudrom sem zadovoljna, najbolj zaradi prekrivnosti in obstojnosti, saj se ne razmazuje ali bledi. Veliko bolj zadovoljna bi bila, če bi lahko dobila kakšen svetlejši odtenek. Sama sem ga kupila v Mullerju v Avstriji in zadnj odštela okoli 32€. Pri nas v Mullerju boste zanj odštele 38€, v Douglasu (Avstrija) 34€, v Travel Free shopu pa le 27€. Razlike v ceni so ogromne in če le imate možnost, priporočam nakup v Avstriji oziroma v TF shopu.

I am satisfied with the foundation, mostly because of the coverage and the longevity, because it doesn’t smudge or fade. I would be a lot happier though if I could get a lighter shade. I bought it in Muller in Austria and paid around 32€ for it. In Slovenia in Muller you will pay 38€, in Douglas (Austria) 34€, in Travel Free shop only 27€. Price differences are huge and if you have the chance, I recommend buying it in Austria or in the TF shop.

Melvita event

V torek, 17.5., sem imela čast udeležiti se svojega prvega blogerskega dogodka, na katerega me je povabila Melvita. Melvita je na dogodku, ki je potekal v Maxi-ju v Ljubljani, predstavila prenovljeno kolekcijo Rožni nektar za obraz.

On Tuesday, 17.5., I had the honor of attending my first blogger event, to which I was invited by Melvita. At this event, which took place in Maxi in Ljubljana, Melvita presented the renewed collection Rose nectar for the face.

Najprej smo se vsi zbrali v pritličju, kjer je bil postavljen Melvitin kotiček. Zbralo se nas je kar veliko in prav dober občutek je bil biti del tega. Na začetku nas je pozdravila Barbara Z., nato pa nam je novo kolekcijo predstavila Helena Karababas, strokovnjakinja iz Francije, ki vodi mednarodna izobraževanja za Melvito.

First we all gathered on the ground floor, where Melvitas little corner was placed. Quite a lot of girls gathered quickly and it was a great feeling being a part of it. In the beginning we were welcomed by Barbara Z., then Helena Karababas, expert from France, who leads international educations for Melvita, introduced the new collection.

Helena nam je tako med drugim tudi povedala, da je izredno pomembna hidratacija kože, kajti ko je koža dehidrirana:

Helena told us, among other things, that hydration is extremely important for the skin, because if the skin is dehydrated:

• površina kože izgleda nezdravo, / the skin surface looks unhealthy,
• nečistoče lažje vstopajo v kožo, / it allows impurities to enter the skin,
• voda v koži ne kroži pravilno. / the water doesn’t circulate correctly in the skin.

V ta namen nam je Melvita predstavila prenovljeno kolekcijo Rožni nektar za obraz. V kolekciji ponujajo vlažilno dnevno kremo, vlažilni gel za obraz, vlažilno masko za obraz, vlažilni gel za oči proti zabuhlosti in podočnjakom, vlažilno BB kremo, osvežilno micelarno vodico ter osvežilno čistilno mleko. Ker še nisem našla primerne kreme za nego oči, me ta še najbolj mika in pa seveda vlažilni gel ter micelarna vodica. 😉

For this purpose Melvita presented the renewed collection Rose nectar for the face. The collection offers a hydrating day cream, hydrating facial gel, moisturizing mask, fresh eye-contour gel for puffy eyes and dark circles, BB cream, fresh micellar water and fresh cleansing milk. Since I still haven’t found a suitable eye cream the eye-contour gel is tempting me the most as well as the hydrating facial gel and the micellar water. 😉

Po predstavitvi izdelkov smo se napotile v prvo nadstropje v klubski salon, kjer se nam je na kratko predstavila modna oblikovalka Janja Videc, ki jo Melvita tudi sponzorsko podpira. Ogledale smo si lahko njeno zadnjo kolekcijo, ki je čudovita.

After the product presentation we headed to the first floor, to the Club Lounge, where Janja Videc, a fashion designer that Melvita is also supporting, introduced herself. We had the chance to look at her last collection, which is wonderful.

Nato je seveda sledila še pogostitev, da smo se malo okrepčale in predvsem podružile. Punce so super (Vanja, Ana, Monika —> klik na ime za povezavo do njihovega bloga) in komaj čakam, da se spet vidimo na kakem dogodku ali enostavno na kavici in čveku. 🙂

Then, of course, followed a feast with some snacks and we had the opportunity to socialize. The girls are great (Vanja, Ana, Monika —> click on the name to go to their blog) and I can’t wait to see them again at an event or simply over a coffee and chat. 🙂

Na koncu nas je Melvita še presenetila z darilom. Dobile smo prelepo rožnato torbico, vlažilno dnevno kremo, rožni nektar za ustnice, ki ga že imam in sem ga prav tako ocenila tukaj, ter dva testerja vlažilne BB kreme. Še enkrat bi se rada zahvalila Melviti, da me je povabila na ta super dogodek in že se veselim naslednjega.

In the end Melvita surprised us with a gift. We got a beautiful pink bag, hydrating day cream, rose nectar lip balm, that I already have and already reviewed here, and two testers of the hydrating BB cream. I would like to thank Melvita again for inviting me to this great event and I’m looking forward to the next one.

H&M: Cover Up Concealer

Vedno sem na preži, za novim korektorjem, saj imam temne podočnjake. Par blogerk je tale korektor opisalo kot dober, učinkovit, in morala sem ga poskusiti. H&M prodaja kozmetiko v Sloveniji le v Ljubljani v City Parku in tam sem ga tudi kupila.

I’m always on the lookout for a new concealer, because I have dark under eye circles. A few bloggers reviewed this concealer as good, effective, and I had to try it. H&M sells beauty products in Slovenia only in Ljubljana in City Park and that’s where I bought it.

Korektor je v tipični embalaži z gobico za aplikator. Ta embalaža mi je še najbolj všeč za korektorje. Vonja nima, barva je Ivory, ki je odtenek svetlejša od moje polti, saj korektor uporabljam za osvetlitev obraza in predela pod očmi.

The concealer is in a typical packaging with a doe foot applicator. I prefer this kind of packaging for concealers. It has no scent, the color is Ivory, which is a shade lighter than my complexion, because I use the concealer to highlight the face and my under eye area.

Korektor je precej kremast in se zato tudi lepo razmaže. Jaz ga nanesem z aplikatorjem direktno na obraz, nato pa ga z Beauty Blenderjem razmažem. Korektor se dobro obnese na obrazu, saj nimam globokih gub. Druga zgodba pa je pod očmi, saj se nabere v gubice in po dobri uri mi več ni všeč kako izgleda. Prekrije precej dobro, ampak mojih izredno temnih podočnjakov skoraj noben korektor ne prekrije popolnoma, tako da to ni merilo. Jaz ga vedno fiksiram s pudrom v prahu in/ali v kamnu.

The concealer is pretty creamy and because of that it blends easily. I apply it with the applicator directly to the face, then I use a Beauty Blender to blend it out. The concealer works well on the face, because I don’t have deep wrinkles. Under the eyes is a different story, because it creases into the fine lines and after an hour I no longer like the look of it. It covers pretty good, but I have very dark under eye circles that rarely any concealer covers completely, so that’s not a criterion. I always set it with a loose and/or pressed powder.

Ker je kremast, mogoče ne bo najboljši za punce z mastno kožo, prav tako ne za tiste, ki imate globoke izrazne gube ali gubice pod očmi, saj se nabira vanje. Korektor je torej dober, ampak ni pa odličen, kot moj MAC ProLongwear concealer. Zanj boste odšteli 5,99€. Priporočam ga, če niste zahtevne uporabnice. 😉

Since it’s creamy it may not be the best for women with oily skin or women with deep expression lines or fine lines under the eyes, because it does crease. The concealer is therefore good, but not great, as my MAC ProLongwear concealer. You will pay 5,99€ for it. I do recommend it, if you’re not a demanding user. 😉

Lush: Imperialis

Lusheva kozmetika za nego obraza me je vedno mikala, ampak se nikoli nisem odločila za nakup. Potem pa sem se, po raziskovanju njihove spletne strani, odločila, da poskusim Imperialis kot jutranjo/dnevno kremo. Kremo sem izbrala predvsem na dejstvu, da je za mešano kožo.

I was always tempted to try the face care cosmetics from Lush, but I never decided to buy it. Then, after exploring their website, I decided to try Imperialis as a morning/daily moisturizer. I chose the cream primarily because of the fact, that it is for combination skin.

Krema je pakirana v črnem lončku s pokrovom na navoj, kot je tipično za Lush. Lusheva embalaža je praktična in učinkovita. Krema je svetlo bež, skoraj bele barve z dodatkom rožnate in je lahke teksture. Meni osebno diši kot zeleni čaj z limono, čeprav ne vsebuje ne zelenega čaja ne limone. 😀 Čeprav vsebuje sivko pa jo redko zaznam.

The cream is packaged in a black pot with a screw on lid, which is typical for Lush. Lush packaging is practical and effective. The cream is a light beige, almost white color with a hint of rosiness and light texture. To me personally it smells like green tea with lemon, although it doesn’t contain neither the green tea nor the lemon. 😀 Although it contains lavender I can rarely smell it.

Lush trdi, da je Imperialis sivkina krema za mešano kožo, ki bi naj spravila kožo v ravnovesje. Sivka uravnava izločanje loja, vodica pomarančnih cvetov izboljša pigmentacijo kože, karitejevo maslo in olivno olje pa nahranita pore.

Lush states that Imperialis is a lavender cream for combination skin, which is supposed to restore the skin balance. The lavender regulates sebum secretion, orange flower absolute improves pigmentation of the skin, Shea butter and olive oil nourish the pores.

Krema je, kot sem že omenila, lahke teksture in zaradi tega tudi izredno mazljiva, kar pomeni, da ne porabimo veliko produkta za cel obraz. Hitro se vpije, tako da je primerna tudi za pod ličila. Jaz jo uporabljam zjutraj, takoj ko se umijem, si nanesem še kremo in tako se dan začne. Svež vonj me prebudi, koža pa je navlažena.

The cream is, as I have already mentioned, very light in texture and therefore also very spreadable, which means, that we don’t use a lot of product for the whole face. It absorbs quickly, so it’s also suitable for under the make-up. I use it in the morning, as soon as I wash my face I apply the cream and that’s how the day starts. The fresh scent wakes me up, the skin is moisturized.

Krema mi je izredno všeč, ima odlične sestavine in tudi draga ni, saj stane 18,45€ za 45g, kar bo dovolj za sigurno vsaj pol leta. Jaz jo bom definitivno še kupila, saj se mi zdi, da jo ima moja koža res rada. Kremo priporočam vsem, ki imate mešano kožo, ostali pa poglejte malo po spletni strani ali pa se napotite v Lushevo trgovino, če imate možnost, saj vam bodo prijazne trgovke svetovale in verjamem, da boste našli nekaj zase.

I really like the cream, it has great ingredients and it’s not expensive, as it costs 18,45€ for 45g, which will be enough for at least half a year. I will definitely buy it again, because I feel, that my skin really loves it. I recommend the cream to everyone who has combination skin, while others can look through the website or go to a Lush store, if you have the chance, because the friendly merchants will advise you and I believe that you will find something for yourself.

BEBE Young care: Soft shower cream

Gela za tuširanje še nisem ocenila, ampak dejstvo je, da ga seveda uporabljam, vsak dan. 🙂 Odločila sem se, da bom začela kar s tem od Bebe, saj je prvi, ki me je po dolgem času presenetil. Gel je v bistvu krema za tuširanje za suho kožo.

I haven’t reviewed a shower gel yet, but it’s a fact that I of course use one, every day. 🙂 I decided to start with the one from Bebe, because it’s the first, after a while, that really surprised me. The gel is actually a shower cream for dry skin.

Sama imam precej suho in občutljivo kožo, predvsem na nogah imam občasno tudi luskasto kožo. Večina gelov za tuširanje mi kožo izsuši, zato sem navdušena, če najdem gel, kateri mi kože ne izsuši. In tako je bilo tudi s tem.

I have pretty dry and sensitive skin, especially on my legs I occasionally get flaky skin. Most shower gels dry out my skin and that’s why I’m really excited if I find a gel, that doesn’t dry out my skin. And so it was with this one.

Gel je v beli plastenki z rožnatim pokrovom na poklop in z rožnatim napisom. Sam gel je mlečno bel. Gel uporabljam z gobico za tuširanje (na sliki) saj se tako najlepše speni. Pena je res bogata in kremasta, kar mi je še najbolj všeč. Vonj je nežen, ne premočan. Na koži se obdrži kako uro. Gel dobro umije, se lepo spere in ne pušča filma na koži.

The gel comes in a white bottle with a pink lid and pink lettering. The gel itself is milky white. I use the gel with a mesh loofah (on the pic), because it foams the best this way. The foam is really rich and creamy, which I like the best. The scent is delicate, not too strong. It stays on the skin for about an hour. It washes nicely, rinses off easily and doesn’t leave a film on the skin.

Jaz rada menjam gele, kreme, za tuširanje, zato ga verjetno ne bom kupila do zime. Sicer pa ga priporočam. Cene ne poznam, saj je bil darilo, mislim pa, da ga lahko kupite v Mullerju.

I like to change my shower gels, creams, so I probably won’t buy it until winter. Otherwise, I do recommend it. I don’t know the price, because it was a gift, but I think that you can buy it in Muller.

Lush: The Comforter bubble bar

Čeprav sem popolnoma predana Lushevim kopalnim bombicam, pa si za spremembo privoščim občasno tudi penečo kopel. Tako sem si tudi tokrat privoščila The Comforter penečo kopel. Kopel je rožnato bela s spiralnim vzorcem, nepravilne ploščate ovalne oblike.

Although I’m fully committed to Lush bath bombs, I do occasionally use a bubble bar. So this time I used The Comforter bubble bar. The bar is pink and white with a spiral pattern and an irregular flat oval shape.

Vonj je precej saden z dodatki citrusov. Meni diši izredno lepo, poživljajoče. Lush pravi, da je glavna nota črni ribez in s tem se popolnoma strinjam. Meni je vonj izredno všeč.

The scent is quite fruity with an addition of citruses. To me it smells very nice, invigorating. Lush claims that the main note is blackcurrant and I totally agree. I really like the scent.

Lusheve peneče kopeli je potrebno drobiti v roki pod tekočo vodo, da se najbolje spenijo. Večji kos kopeli uporabite, bolj močan je vonj, bolj obarvana je voda in tudi več pene je. Jaz ponavadi uporabim polovico in mi je ravno dovolj. Lahko pa seveda uporabite tudi manj, več ne priporočam. Voda se je tokrat obarvala nežno rožnato.

To get a good foam you have to crumble the bubble bar under running water. The bigger the chunk you use, the stronger the scent, the water gets more colorful and there’s more foam. I usually use half of the bar and that’s enough for me. You can use less, but I don’t recommend using more. The water colored to a soft pink.

Sestavine: natrijev bikarbonat, vinski kamen, natrijev lavrat sulfat, lavril betain, parfum, titanov dioksid, kokamid DEA, olje bergamotke, absolut črnega ribeza, cipresovo olje, limonene, linalool, barvilo 45410, barvilo 17200.

Kože mi ni izsušila, kar me ne preseneča, saj mi Lusheve kopeli načeloma nikoli ne izsušijo kože. Kopel prav tako vsebuje malenkost olja in sicer olje bergamotke ter cipresovo olje. Koža je le narahlo dišala po kopeli, vonj pa se je obdržal kakšni dve uri. Jaz jo priporočam. 🙂

It didn’t dry out my skin, which doesn’t surprise me, because baths from Lush usually never do. The bath also contains a little bit of oil, namely the bergamot oil and the cypress oil. The skin was slightly scented after the bath, the scent lingered for about two hours. I recommend it. 🙂
