Adventni koledarji

Adventne koledarje poznamo že od malega, ko smo jih dobivali decembra in vsak dan veselo odpirali ter jedli čokoladice in bonbončke, ki so se skrivali notri. Adventni koledarji so se od takrat razvili v nekaj več, nekaj česar se ne veselijo le otroci, ampak tudi odrasli. Tako lahko kupimo adventne koledarje, ki vsebujejo tudi alkohol, cigare, igrače, lake za nohte in seveda tudi kozmetiko. Predvsem ta zadnji me je najbolj razveselil.

We’ve known about advent calendars from an early age, when we used to get them in December and happily opened them every day to find and eat the chocolates and candy that were hiding inside. Advent calendars have since evolved into something more, something that not only children are happy about but adults as well. We can now buy advent calendars that contain alcohol, cigars, toys, nail polish and cosmetics of course. The last of those is the one that bring me the most happiness.

Adventni koledar s kozmetiko, naj bo negovalna ali dekorativna, bo razveselil marsikatero punco, ženo, prijateljico, mamo oziroma vse, ki imamo rade kozmetiko. Sama se nekako mogoče celo bolj nagibam k negovalni kozmetiki kot dekorativni, saj zelo rada preizkušam nove kremice, losijone,… Jaz vam bom tukaj ponudila par opcij, vendar pa se v Sloveniji zaenkrat še kar težko dobi kakšen dober adventni koledar, tako da če se boste odločile za kakšnega predlagam, da malo pobrskate po spletu. 😉

An advent calendar with cosmetics, care cosmetics or make-up, will bring joy to almost any girlfriend, wife, friend, mom or anyone that likes cosmetics. I myself am thinking more of care cosmetics than make-up, because I love to test out new cremes, lotions,… Here I will offer you a few options but in Slovenia it’s still quite difficult to get a good advent calendar so if you choose to get one I recommend looking online. 😉

1. LUSH 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS 52,95GBP

Naj začnem kar z Lush adventnim koledarjem, saj kot veste, sem obsedena z Lushem. Čeprav mislim, da se ga v Sloveniji ne bo dalo kupiti pa angleška Lusheva stran pošilja tudi k nam, tako da si ga lahko vseeno naročite.

Let me start with the Lush advent calendar because as you know I’m crazy about Lush. Although I think you can’t get it in Slovenia you can still order it on the English site and get it delivered to Slovenia.

2. THE BODY SHOP

Spet eno podjetje, ki se ne da kupiti pri nas, vendar pa imate The Body Shop v sosednjih državah, tako da če boste kaj potovali naokoli lahko obiščete kakšno trgovino. Letos nudijo 3 različne koledarje, za 95€, 130€ ali 160€.

This is again a company that isn’t available in Slovenia but you can buy it in the neighboring countries so if you’ll travel around you can visit a store there. This year they’re offering 3 different calendars, for 95€, 130€ or 160€.

     3. W7 COSMETICS 34,99€

Seveda sem poiskala tudi koledarje, ki se dajo kupiti/naročiti v Sloveniji in W7 je eden izmed takih. Naročite ga lahko na Ličila.si strani. Notri boste našli šminke, lake za nohte, senčila in še več dobrot.

Of course I looked for calendars that you can buy/order in Slovenia and W7 is one of those. You can order it on the Ličila.si site. Inside you will find lipsticks, nail polishes, eyeshadows and many more goodies.

     4. FEELUNIQUE 30GBP

Ker tudi sama kupujem na tej spletni strani in ker pri njih lahko kupite ogromno različnih kozmetičnih produktov, me izmed vseh še najbolj tale mika, pa tudi cena se mi zdi primerna. Na voljo od 3. novembra na njihovi spletni strani.

Because I myself buy from this website and because you can buy a lot of different cosmetic products from them I’m mostly tempted to buy this one and the price is good as well. It will be available from November 3rd on their website.

     5. MAKEUP REVOLUTION (ok. 30€)

Čeprav datuma prihoda adventnega koledarja in točne cene še nisem uspela dobiti, pa so mi potrdili, da ga bodo na spletni strani Makeuprevoluton.si sigurno dobili.

Although I couldn’t get an arrival date or the price for this advent calendar they did confirm that they will surely have it on their website Makeuprevolution.si.

Kot sem vam omenila je teh adventnih koledarjev res ogromno in verjamem, da boste tudi pri nas dobili kakšnega, ki vam bo všeč. Jaz si bom skoraj zagotovo kupila kakšnega in v tem primeru ga bom tudi na blogu predstavila in pokazala s čim so me presenetili.

As I mentioned there are a lot of advent calendars and I believe that you will find one for yourself. I will probably get one for myself and in that case I will also review it here and show you what they surprised me with.

Lush: Rose Jam

Ta gel za tuširanje ni nov. Jaz sem ga celo lani kupila sestri za božič. Poskusila sem ga pa prvič pri mami in od takrat (mislim, da je bil maj) sem čakala, da bodo dobili spet božično kolekcijo, da ga kupim. In prvega oktobra, ko so dobili božično kolekcijo, sem že bila tam. Kupila sem gel in 7 božičnih kopalnih bombic, vendar pa se trenutno ne smem kopati zaradi zdravstvenih težav, tako da ne vem če bom uspela bombice oceniti do konca leta.

This shower gel isn’t new. I actually bought it last Christmas for my sister. The first time I tried it was at my moms house and since then (I think it was May) I was waiting for them to get the Christmas collection again so I can buy it. On first October when they got the Christmas collection I was there. I bought the gel and 7 Christmas bath bombs but because I’m having some medical problems and can’t take baths I don’t know if I will be able to review the bombs until the end of the year.

Pojdimo kar na gel. Gel je pakiran v prozorno plastenko s črno etiketo, tipično za Lush. Dozira se enostavno. Gel je vinsko rdeče barve in srednje (normalno) goste konsistence. Izredno lepo se peni, sama uporabljam še gobico za tuširanje s katero dobim še več pene. Umije dobro in na koži ne pušča filma, kar je dobrodošlo.

Let’s go to the gel. It’s in a transparent plastic bottle with a black label, typical for Lush. Dosing is easy. The gel is a wine red color and medium (normal) thick consistency. It foams beautifully, I do use a loofah that provides even more foam. It cleans well and doesn’t leave any film on the skin which is always welcoming.

Preidimo na vonj. Vonj je tudi glavni razlog, zakaj sem si ga tako želela. Meni osebno diši po cvetličnem medu. Medu gel sploh ne vsebuje, ampak vsebuje pa vanilijo, sok goji jagod, arganovo olje, absolut turške vrtnice in še veliko drugih dobrih sestavin. Torej diši sladko cvetlično. Zame je to eden najboljših gelov za tuširanje. Kože mi ne izsuši, kar je velik plus.

Let’s move on to the scent. The scent is also the main reason why I wanted it so much. To me personally it smells like flower honey. The gel doesn’t even contain honey but it does contain vanilla, goji berry juice, argan oil, Turkish rose and many other good ingredients. So it does have a sweet floral scent. For me this is one of the best shower gels. It doesn’t dry out my skin which is great.

Če zaokrožim, lahko iskreno povem, da je to definitivno moj naljubši gel za tuširanje. Gel je zaenkrat še na voljo v Lush trgovinah in v spletni trgovini, plačali pa boste 16,95€ za 250ml. Jaz ga definitivno priporočam in planiram narediti zaloge za čez celo leto. 🙂

If I round thing up I can honestly say that this is my favorite shower gel. You can still buy it in Lush stores or online and you will pay 16,95€ for 250ml. I definitely recommend it and I plan on stocking up for the year. 🙂

Kako čistim čopiče + GIVEAWAY

Velikokrat me sprašujejo kako čistim svoje čopiče za ličenje, zato sem se odločila na to temo napisati kar eno krajšo objavo. Kratko tudi zaradi tega, ker čiščenje čopičev ni nič posebnega ali zahtevnega. 🙂 Za lažje razumevanje pa sem posnela tudi kratek video v katerem lahko vidite kako jih sama čistim.

Often I’m asked how I clean my make-up brushes and that’s why I decided to write a short post about it. Short because there’s nothing special or complicated about cleaning brushes. 🙂 For better understanding I also made a short video that shows you how I clean them.

S čim čistim čopiče? Če je nekaj dobro za odstranjevanje ličil z mojega obraza, potem je tudi dobro za čiščenje mojih čopičev. Tako za čiščenje čopičev v veliki večini uporabljam Nuxe Reve de Miel gel za umivanje obraza, ki je nežen do mojih čopičev in jih dobro očisti. Ne dolgo nazaj pa sem se odločila poskusiti še z milom za čiščenje čopičev Barbara Hofmann, ki sem ga kupila v Mullerju in zanj odštela okoli 10€. Pred tem sem za čiščenje čopičev prav tako uporabljala katerokoli navadno trdo milo, gledala sem le, da je bilo za občutljivo kožo in neodišavljeno.

What do I use to clean my brushes? If something is good to clean the make-up from my face then it’s also good enough to clean my brushes. So for cleaning my brushes I mostly use my Nuxe Reve de Miel facial cleansing gel which is gentle to my brushes and also cleans them well. Not so long ago I decided to try a brush cleaning soap from Barbara Hofmann that I bought in Muller and paid around 10€. Before that I also used any regular solid soap that was for sensitive skin and fragrance free.

Za samo čiščenje čopičev sem prej uporabljala dlan, ampak ker se je število čopičev povečalo, moje dlani pa so kar občutljive, sem se odločila kupiti podlage za čiščenje. Eno je v obliki jajčka, ki se natakne na prste in ima precej bolj globoke brazde, drugo pa je malenkost večje, se lahko prisesa na umivalnik ali drži med prsti in ima bolj nežne brazde. Prvo zato uporabljam za čopiče za obraz, drugo pa za manjše čopiče.

I used to use my palm for cleaning the brushes but because the number of my brushes has increased and my hands are quite sensitive I decided to buy a widget for cleaning. One is shaped as an egg that I put on my fingers and has deeper creases, the other one is a bit larger and can be suctioned to the sink or you can hold it between your fingers and has more delicate creases. That’s why I use the first one for face brushes and the other one for smaller brushes.

Kadar umivam čopiče za obraz s katerimi uporabljam kremne oziroma tekoče izdelke uporabim vročo vodo iz pipe, saj gre tako hitreje. Sem pa pri tem toliko bolj pazljiva da vroča voda ne pride do lepila, ki drži ščetine skupaj, saj bi se stopilo in s tem bi tudi uničila čopič. Na koncu, ko je čopič čisti uporabim mlačno vodo in takrat ga obrnem navpično in previdno izperem milo med ščetinami. Kot vidite na posnetku sem s čopičem, ki ima sintetične ščetine (1. čopič) bolj “groba”, s tistimi z naravnimi oziroma mešanimi ščetinami (2. in 3. čopič) pa malo bolj previdna. Čopič milim dokler pena ni čista in na koncu ga vedno dobro umijem ter sem pozorna da se več nikjer ne peni.

When I’m cleaning face brushes that I use with cream or liquid products I use hot tap water because it’s faster this way. I’m a bit more careful when doing that so that the hot water doesn’t melt the adhesive that holds the bristles together because I would ruin the brush that way. In the end, when the brush is clean, I use lukewarm water and turn the brush vertically and gently wash the soap between the bristles. As you can see in the video I’m more “rough” with the brush with synthetic bristles (1. brush) and more careful with the brush with natural or mixed bristles (2. and 3. brush). I put soap on the brush until the foam isn’t clean and in the end I always clean it well and I’m careful that it’s not foaming anywhere.

Ko čopič operem ga tudi podrgnem po čisti brisači, da odstranim čim več vode iz njega. Ko vse čopiče očistim jih položim vodoravno na čisto brisačo in sama jih ponavadi položim na pralni stroj tako, da se ščetine ne dotikajo brisače in se tako tudi prej posušijo. Pustim jih čez noč in drugi dan so čopiči ponavadi suhi in pripravljeni na uporabo. Nikoli čopičev ne puščajte navpično postavljenih s ščetinami obrnjenimi navzgor. Če imate možnost ali imate stojalo za sušenje čopičev, jih vedno obrnite s ščetinami navdzol, da voda odteka iz čopiča.

When I wash the brush I also rub it on a clean towel to remove as much water from it. When I clean all the brushes I place them horizontally on a clean towel and I usually put them on a washing machine so that the bristles don’t touch the towel and they dry much faster. I let them dry overnight and the next day they are usually ready to use. Never leave the brushes vertically positioned with the bristles facing upwards. If you have the option or you have a rack for drying brushes, always position them with bristles facing downwards so the water drips from the brush.

To bi bilo vse kar se tiče čiščenja čopičev. Enostavno kajne? 🙂 Sama čistim čopiče za nanašanje tekočega pudra bolj pogosto (najmanj enkrat na mesec), ostale pa po potrebi. Ker bi rada, da tudi vi skrbite za svoje čopiče sem vam pripravila majhno NAGRADNO IGRO.

That would be all as far as cleaning the brushes go. Easy right? 🙂 I clean my brushes for applying foundation more often (at least once a month) and the others when necessary. Because I want you to take care of your brushes I prepared a small GIVEAWAY.
