Lush Pumpkin

Spet je tukaj tisti čas, ko preživim vedno več časa v banji in ko se naslajam nad Lushevimi kopalnimi bombicami. Poleg svežih mask za obraz so kopalne bombice drugi najboljši produkt od Lusha v mojem mnenju. Prav tako pa je v Lushu že na voljo omejena kolekcija za noč čarovnic iz katere sem si izbrala tole kopalno bombico v obliki buče.

Again it’s that time of the year when I spend most of my time in the bathtub and when I’m drooling over the Lush bath bombs. In addition to the fresh face masks, the bath bombs are the second best product from Lush in my opinion. You can already buy the Halloween collection in Lush stores and the Pumpkin bath bomb is the product I choose from it. 

Kopalna bombica je torej oranžne barve iz izgleda kot izrezljana buča za veliko noč. Enostavno a zelo primerno in luštno za to kolekcijo. Bombica diši že suha izredno močno, najbolj voham citruse in vanilijo. Ko pa sem bombico vrgla v vodo pa je vonj postal še močnejši in kopalnica je kaj hitro zadišala. Lush sicer trdi, da bombica diši po bučni piti vendar pa se mi zdi, da se cimet premalo voha, da bi to potrdila. Če bi bilo več cimeta in malo manj citrusov bi se prej strinjala s tem.

The bath bomb is orange and it look like a carved out pumpkin for Halloween. Simple but very appropriate and cute for this collection. The bomb has a strong scent even when dry, I smell citruses and vanilla. When I threw the bath bomb in the water the scent only got stronger and the scent spread through the bathroom. Lush claims that the bomb smells like pumpkin pie but I think that there’s not enough cinnamon to confirm that. If there would be more cinnamon and a little less citruses then I would agree quicker. 

To nikakor ne pomeni, da mi vonj ni všeč. Vse kar diši toplo s pridihom citrusov mi je všeč in še bolj všeč mi je, ko je vonj močan in ostane na koži še nekaj časa po kopanju. Bombica obarva vodo oranžno, vendar pa je voda še vedno prosojna. Video Pumpkin kopalne bombice pa lahko vidite v akciji spodaj.

This in no way means that I don’t like the scent. Everything that smells warm with a hint of citrus I like and I like it even more when the scent is strong and stays on the skin for some time after bathing. The bomb colors the water orange but the water is still transparent. You can watch the Pumpkin bath bomb in action down below. 

Sestavine: natrijev bikarbonat, citronska kislina, pimentovo olje, absolut vanilije, olje cimetovih listov, alfa izometil ionon, cinamal, citral, eugenol, geraniol, limonene, barvilo 15510, barvilo 45350.

Kar sem najbolj pogrešala je to, da ni nič priplavalo na površje iz bombice. Ni bilo nobenih presenečenj, kar sem načeloma iz bombice za veliko noč celo pričakovala. Kože mi ni izsušila, saj vsebuje tudi kar nekaj olj, kar je vedno plus. Vonj se je obdržal na koži še par ur. Za kopalno bombico boste odšteli 5,95€.

What I mostly missed was the fact that nothing came out of the bomb while fizzing. There weren’t any surprises, which were expected from a Halloween collection bath bomb. It didn’t dry out my skin because it does contain some oils which is always a plus. The scent stayed on the skin for a few hours. You will pay 5,95€ for the bath bomb.

Lush: Volcano foot mask

Ker je vreme kočno toplo je prišel tudi čas japonk in sandal. In kaj to pomeni? To pomeni, da je potrebno poskrbeti za stopala. Čeprav si jaz s stopali nisem najbolj na ti, pa vseeno skrbim, da izgledajo negovana in urejena. Na srečo nimam zelo trde ali suhe kože, ampak vseeno moram skrbeti, da se to ne zgodi. Torej, ta teden, se bomo posvečali stopalom. 😉

Since the weather is warm it’s finally time for flip flops and sandals. And what does that mean? It means that we have to take care of our feet. Although I’m not into feet that much, I still see that they look nice and taken care of. Luckily I don’t have very hard or dry skin, but I still have to prevent it. So we’re devoting this week to feet. 😉

Ker veliko časa preživim na Lushevi spletni strani, kot tudi v trgovini, sem se odločila raziskati področje nege stopal. In kaj hitro sem našla to masko, ki je vzbudila moje zanimanje, predvsem zaradi dejstva, da vsebuje cimet. Vsi, ki me malo boljše poznate, veste, da sem čisto nora na cimet. 😀 Zato sem se tudi odločila masko poskusiti.

Because I spend a lot of time on the Lush website, as in the store I decided to explore the field of foot care. I found this mask, that intrigued my interest, because of the fact that it contains cinnamon. And everyone that knows me a bit better, know, that I’m crazy about cinnamon. 😀 That’s also why I decided to try out this mask.

Maska je pakirana v črnem Lushevem lončku, z napisi in navodili. Praktično in uporabno. Meni diši maska čudovito, cimet je precej v ospredju. Je sivo bele barve, saj vsebuje tudi kaolinsko glino. Konsistenca je zelo gosta in med prsti čutimo plovec. Med nanašanjem se kar hitro suši, zato priporočam da imate vse pripravljeno vnaprej. Masko je potrebno nanesti na stopala in jih zaviti v folijo, ter jih pustiti počivati okoli 10 minut.

The mask is packed in a black Lush pot, with inscriptions and instructions. It’s practical and useful. I love the scent of the mask, the cinnamon is in the forefront for sure. It’s a white-ish gray color, because it contains kaolin clay as well. The consistency is really thick and we can feel the pumice between our fingers. It dries quite fast while applying so I recommend that you prepare everything in advance. You should apply the mask to the feet, wrap them in foil and leave to rest for about 10 minutes.

Zaradi cimeta in folije v kombinaciji je občutek na koži “pekoč” oziroma topel (če ste že kdaj poskusili kakšno toplo masko, potem lahko učinek primerjate). Meni je všeč, saj je maska na začetku hladna in mi stopala ohladi (hranim jo v hladilniku), ko jih zavijem v folijo, pa vedno bolj topla. Teh 10-15 minut sem si vzela zase in se zleknila na kavč. 🙂 Po pretečenem času, sem si stopala umila. Zmehčano kožo na podplatih sem izkoristila in po stopalih podrgnila s plovcem za odstranjevanje trde kože. Svež občutek na nogah je prisoten še nekaj časa (okrog pol ure). Prav tako sem nanesla še Gehwol Softening Balzam (ocena v petek) in nega je bila zaključena.

The feeling on the skin is “burning” or warm (if you ever tried a warm mask, then you can compare the effect) because of the cinnamon and foil combination. I like it, because in the beginning it cools your feet, because the mask is cool (I keep it in the fridge) and when I foil them the warmth increases. I took those 10-15 minutes for myself and stretched out on the couch. 🙂 After the time passed, I washed my feet. I took advantage of my softened skin on my soles and rubbed them with a pumice stone for removing hard skin. The fresh feeling on the feet stays a while (for about half an hour). I also applied the Gehwol Softening Balsam (review on Friday) and the foot treatment was completed.

Maske je 125g, kar bo zame dovolj za 3-4 nanose. Torej porabi se je relativno veliko, odvisno koliko nanesete (jaz sem stopala popolnoma prekrila z masko). Masko bi lahko načeloma nanesli tudi samo na podplate, kar bi zmanjšalo količino nanosa. Zame bo to dovolj za čez poletje in razvajanje enkrat na mesec.  Masko lahko kupite v Lushevih trgovinah za 11,95€. Jaz si jo bom sigurno še privoščila in jo tudi priporočam. You get 125g of the mask, which will be enough for about 3-4 applications. So you use relatively a lot, it depends on how much you apply (I covered my feet entirely with the mask). You could apply the mask to your soles only, which would decrease the amount you would use. For me, this will be enough for the summer  and pampering once a month.
