Moji najljubši izdelki leta 2016 #1

Podobno kot lani, bom tudi letos razdelila moje najljubše izdelke v dve skupini in sicer v skupino z negovalnimi izdelki in v skupino z ličili in produkti za ličenje. Čeprav sem že malce pozna pa verjamem, da vas seeno zanima kateri produkti so me navdušili. Produkti, ki so bili že ocenjeni na mojem blogu bodo vsebovali tudi povezavo do originalne ocene, drugače pa bo vsak produkt spremljala kratka ocena. Pa začnimo.

as last year I also divided my favorite products into two groups, namely in a group with care cosmetics and a group with make-up. Although I’m a bit late  I do believe that you’re still interested in which products impressed me. The products that were already reviewed on my blog will contain a link to the original review  Let’s start.

1. ESSENCE – LONGLASTING LIPLINER

Te obstojne barvice za ustnice so bile ena izmed mojih prvih ocen na blogu in tudi po enem letu sem enakega mnenja. Barvice so fantastične, obstojne, prijetne na ustnicah, jih ne izsušijo. Edina stvar, ki me žalosti je izbira barv. Sama imam 7 izmed 9 odtenkov in čeprav so mi vse barve, ki jih posedujem zelo všeč, pa bi mi prav prišle še kakšne druge z isto formulo seveda. Pri meni so številka 1 in jih ne menjam. Povezava do ocene je TUKAJ.

These longlasting lipliners were one of my first reviews on the blog and even after the whole year my opinion hasn’t changed. The liners are fantastic, long lasting, comfortable on the lips and they don’t dry them out. The only thing that makes me sad is the color selection. I have 7 from the 9 shades and although I love all of the shades I have I could use a few more with the same formula of course. For me they are no. 1 and that won’t change.       2. URBAN DECAY – BEACHED BRONZER

Če ste prebrale mojo oceno potem veste, da sem popolnoma predana temu bronzerju. Uporabljala sem ga 98% časa odkar sem ga kupila in še vedno ga redno uporabljam. Porabi se ga izredno malo, glede na to da je bil to skoraj edini bronzer, ki sem ga uporabljala in še vedno nisem prišla do dna embalaže. Bronzer se čudovito nanaša, lepo razmaže po koži, koža pa izgleda naravno zagorela.  Če vas zanima več lahko celo oceno preberete TUKAJ.

If you read my review then you know that I’m totally dedicated to this bronzer. I used it 98% of the time since I bought it and I still use it regularly. I still didn’t hit pan although this was almost the only bronzer I used so I can say that you won’t use it up fast. The bronzer applies and blends nicely on the skin and the skin looks naturally tanned. If you want to know more about it you can read the whole review HERE.

      3. MAC – PRO LONGWEAR CONCEALER

Čeprav sem tale korektor lani začela malo zanemarjati, saj sem želela poskusiti še kakšnega drugega, novega, pa sem se proti koncu leta spet vrnila k temu in se ponovno zaljubila. Še vedno je edini, ki skoraj popolnoma prekrije moje temne podočnjake, se ne poseda v gubice in zdrži na koži cel dan. Zame je torej že leta najboljši, ki sem ga poskusila in verjamem, da bo to še dolgo ostal. Pri MAC-u imate prav tako na izbiro ogromno odtenkov, tako da s tem ne boste imeli težav, edini minus je ta, da se v Sloveniji MAC ne dobi, se pa dobi pri naših sosedih v Zagrebu in tudi v Avstriji. Če še vedno iščete korektor za vaše temne podočnjake potem vam priporočam, da poskusite tega.

Although I started neglecting this concealer last year because I wanted to try other ones I came back to it at the end of the year and I fell in love again. It’s still the only one that covers my under eye circles almost completely, doesn’t settle in fine lines and lasts on the skin throughout the day. For me it’s been the best for years now and I believe it will stay the best for a long time. With MAC you have a wide shade selection so you won’t have a problem with that but the only minus is that you can’t buy MAC in Slovenia but you can buy it in Austria or in Zagreb (Croatia). If you’re still looking for a concealer for your dark under eye circles then I recommend you try this one.

      4. CLINIQUE – BEYOND PERFECTING FOUNDATION & CONCEALER

Čeprav mi izbira odtenkov pri nas nikakor ne odgovarja, saj mi je najsvetlejši odtenek pozimi malce pretemen (drugače se v tujini oziroma na spletu dobijo še svetlejši odtenki) pa je še vedno moj najpogosteje uporabljen tekoči puder. Na začetku sem ga raje nanašala s čopičem, sedaj, ko moja koža ni več tako problematična, pa raje uporabim gobico, tako da izgleda malce bolj naravno. Pozimi si pomagam s svetlejšim korektorjem, da ga malce posvetlim, drugače pa je ravno prav. Prekriva zelo dobro in je dolgo obstojen. Povezava do ocene je TUKAJ.

Although I really don’t like the shade selection in Slovenia because the lightest shade is still too dark for me in the winter (you can find lighter shades abroad or online) this is still my most used foundation. In the beginning I liked applying it with a brush but now that my skin is not that problematic anymore I rather use a sponge so it looks a bit more natural. I help myself with a lighter concealer in the winter to lighten it up otherwise it’s just right. It covers very good and it’s long wearing. Link to the review HERE.

       5. JOUER – LIQUID LIPSTICK

Jouer tekoče šminke sem odkrila proti koncu leta, ampak odkar sem kupila prvo in jo poskusila sem predana samo še tem tekočim šminkam. Tako izredno udobne so na ustnicah, hitro se posušijo, dolgo so obstojne, ne drobijo se, v glavnem super so. Pri temnejših oziroma bolj živih barvah je sicer potrebno po jedi v večini primerov šminko ponovno nanesti, saj na notranjem robu ustnic včasih izgine, ampak ponoven nanos je enostaven in šminka ostane udobna na ustnicah. Zame so res top in zelo rada jih uporabljam.

I found out about Jouer liquid lipsticks at the end of the year but since I bought my first one and tried it out I’m dedicated only to these liquid lipsticks. They are extremely comfortable on the lips, they dry really fast and are long wearing, they don’t crumble and are really great. With the darker or bolder shades you do have to reapply after eating because they sometimes fade in the inner rim of the lips but reapplying is really easy and the lipstick stays comfortable on the lips. For me they are the top and I love using them.

       6. L.O.V. – CARING VOLUME GLOSS

L.O.V. glosi so me hitro navdušili saj so izredno udobni na ustnicah, jih ne izsušujejo,  mogoče jih celo malenkost vlažijo, niso lepljivi in so dobro obstojni, koliko so pač glosi lahko obstojni. Barve niso izredno pigmentirane, ampak so ravno dovolj. Sama imam 2 odtenka in veliko sem ju uporabljala od dneva nakupa. Glose res priporočam, če iščete nekaj za vsak dan. The L.O.V. glosses impressed me quickly because they are extremely comfortable on the lips, they don’t dry them out, they even moisturize them a bit, are not sticky and are quite long lasting as much as glosses can be long lasting. The colors are not crazy pigmented but are pigmented enough. I have 2 shades and I used them a lot since I bought them. I really do recommend these glosses if you’re looking something for a day to day use. Link to the review is HERE.

      7. TOO FACED – SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE PALETTE

Za najboljšo sem jo izbrala zaradi tega, ker kadarkoli sem potovala je vedno šla z menoj. S to paleto lahko naredim hiter dnevni izgled ali bolj kompliciran, temen, večerni izgled. Ponuja mi vse kar potrebujem, senčila v paleti pa so ravno prav mehka in pigmentirana, tako da je uporaba res enostavna. Paleto sem prav tako že ocenila na blogu in povezavo do ocene najdete TUKAJ.

I choose this palette as the best one because whenever I traveled somewhere it always came with me. I can do a quick daily look or a more complicated, dark, nigh time look. It offers me everything I need, the eyeshadows are just soft enough and pigmented so using it is really easy. I also already reviewed this palette on the blog and you can find the review HERE.

      8. ZOEVA – 134 LUXE POWDER FUSION

Osvetljevalec sem prej nanašala z enim drugim čopičem in nikoli nisem bila zadovoljna z izgledom, zato sem se podala v lov za novim čopičem. Najprej sem seveda pogledala na Zoevino stran, saj so mi Zoevini čopiči eni izmed najboljših. Hitro sem našla tega in ga tudi kupila v Douglasu v Avstriji. Čopič je ravno prav širok in dolg da je nanos osvetljevalca vedno perfekten. Uporabim ga vsakič ko se ličim in ne predstavljam si več življenja brez njega. Čopič priporočam vsem, ki uporabljate osvetljevalce.

Before I applied the highlighter with a different brush and I was never happy with the way it looked so I started looking for a new one. The first site I looked at was Zoeva of course because Zoeva brushes are one of the best for me. I quickly found this one and also bought it in Douglas in Austria. The brush is just wide and long enough so the highlighter applied always looks perfect. I use it every time I put on make-up and I can’t imagine my life without it. I recommend this brush to everyone that uses highlighters.

      9. ESSENCE – PURE NUDE HIGHLIGHTER

O tem osvetljevalcu ste verjetno slišali že veliko zato ne bom dolgovezila. Osvetljevalec je naraven a kljub temu obraz izredno lepo osvetli. Poleti in jeseni je bil to edini osvetljevalec katerega sem uporabljala. Izdelek je lepo kremast, nič pudrast, na kožo se lepo prenese. Čeprav izgleda na prvi pogled precej temen pa pri nanosu na kožo nimam težav s tem saj se lepo zlije s poltjo. Priporočam ga predvsem za vsakodnevno uporabo saj menim, da z njim ne morete zgrešiti.

You probably heard a lot about this highlighter so I won’t be long. The highlighter is natural but it still lights up the face nicely. In the summer and autumn this was the only highlighter I used. The product is nicely creamy, not powdery at all and applies to the skin really well. Although it looks quite dark at first sight I have no problem with that while applying it to the skin because it blends really nicely with my tan. I recommend it especially for a daily use because I think you can’t go wrong with this one.

Ker nerada dajem na ta seznam produkte, ki se več ne dajo kupiti, je seznam letos malce krajši. Kljub temu me je izredno navdušila še Benefit Cheekathon paleta, ki je bila redno v uporabi in pa MAC Sweet Peach duo/paleta iz zimske kolekcije. Kateri produkti so vas navdušili v lanskem letu? The list is a bit shorter this year because I don’t like to put products you can’t buy anymore on it. Nevertheless I was extremely impressed by the Benefit Cheekathon palette that I was using a lot and the MAC Sweet Peach duo/palette from the winter collection. Toxic make-up look

Ne samo, da slavimo 1. obletnico bloga in da je to zadnja objava to leto, prav tako je to 100. objava. Ponosna sem, da sem uspela v enem letu objaviti 100 objav, takšnih in drugačnih, še bolj vesela pa sem, da sem imela več obiska, kot sem si kdajkoli predstavljala, da ga bom imela. Zato se želim tudi zahvaliti vsem, ki ste kdaj slučajno ali namerno pokukali na moj blog, kaj pokomentirali in se prijavili v mojo bazo rednih obiskovalcev.

Not only that we’re celebrating the 1st anniversary of the blog and that this is the last post in this year it’s also the 100th post. I’m proud to have succeeded to post 100 different posts in a year, I’m even happier that I had more traffic than I ever imagined that I would ever have. Therefore I want to thank everyone that accidentally or intentionally stopped at my blog, commented or subscribed.

Zadnja objava je tako makeup izgled z uporabo Makeup Geek senčila, ki sem ga v zadnji objavi ocenila in sicer je to Toxic, prav tako pa sem ustvarila izgled, ki je primeren tudi za zadnji večer v letu, za silvestrovo. A nikar ne skrbite, saj je izgled izredno enostavno poustvariti, saj uporabim samo 3 senčila.

The last post is a make-up look using the Makeup Geek eyeshadow that I reviewed in my last post namely Toxic and I also created a look that is suitable for the New Year’s Eve. But don’t worry because this look is very easy to recreate because I only used 3 eyeshadows.

Začela sem z bazo za veke in bež senčilom s katerim sem fiksirala bazo. Nato sledi prvo Makeup Geek senčilo in sicer Unexpected (1.), katero nanesem kot prehodno barvo, torej v gubo veke in ga zblendam s širšim čopičem malenkost nad gubo in tudi pod gubo. To ponovim dvakrat, tako da je senčilo enakomerno nanešeno. Potem nadaljujem z Vintage (2.) senčilom, katero nanesem na celo veko, do očesne gube. Senčilo nanašam, dokler ni enakomerno nanešeno. S prvim čopičem grem brez dodatnega produkta čez gubo veke, da senčili združim.

I started with an eyeshadow base and a beige eyeshadow to set the base. Then I used the first Makeup Geek eyeshadow, Latte (1.) that I apply as a transitional color in the eye crease and blend it with a wider blending brush a bit above and under the crease. I repeat this twice so the eyeshadow is evenly applied. Then I continue with Vintage (2.) eyeshadow that I apply all over the lid, up to the eye crease. I apply the eyeshadow until it’s not evenly applied. I go over the eye crease with the first brush and no additional product to blend the eyeshadows together.

Nato sledi Toxic (3.) katero sem s prstom nanesla čez Vintage, torej čez celo veko. Senčilo narahlo tapkam po veki in to ponavaljam, dokler ni senčilo lepo nanešeno čez celo veko. Z manjšim, ožjim, čopičem za blendanje zajamem malo Vintage senčila in ga nanesem pod gubo ter v zunanji kotiček očesa, da povežem obe senčili. Za zaključek sem narisala še tanko črno črto ob rob trepalnic ter nanesla maskaro. Na spodnjo veko, čisto ob rob trepalnic sem nanesla Vintage (2.) in šla čez z Unexpected (1.) senčilom, da sem robove zabrisala, na notranji rob veke sem nanesla črno barvico ter zaključila z maskaro.

Next is Toxic (3.) that I apply with my finger all over Vintage across the whole lid. I tap the eyeshadow lightly on the eyelid and repeat until the eyeshadow is evenly applied all over the lid. With a smaller, more narrow blending brush I take a little Vintage and apply it under my eye crease and in the outer corner of the eye to blend the both eyeshadows. To finish it off I drew a thin black line at the edge of the eyelashes and applied mascara. On my lower eyelid right under the eyelashes I applied Vintage (2.) and went over with Unexpected (1.) to blend the edges, put some black eye kohl on my waterline and concluded with mascara.

V notranji kotiček očesa in pod obrv pa sem nanesla kar osvetljevalec katerega sem uporabila na obrazu in sicer MAC Tutu iz božične kolekcije (Sweet Peach). Ker je to silvestrski izgled sem na obraz sicer nanesla bolj nežne rožnate odtenke, malce več osvetljevalca kot ponavadi, na ustnice pa drzno temno šminko in sicer Jouer Clove, ki je izredno udobna, lahko pa nanesete tudi kakšno bež šminko ali nežen rožnati glos. Seznam ostalih izdelkov, ki sem jih uporabila je spodaj.

In my inner eye corner and under my eyebrows I applied the highlighter I used on my face, MAC Tutu from the Christmas collection (Sweet Peach). Because this is a New Year’s Eve look I applied more subtle pink shades to the face, a bit more highlighter than usual and a more bold dark lipstick Jouer Clove, that is extremely comfortable, but you can also apply any nude lipstick or a subtle pink gloss. Semi-Sweet Chocolate bar make-up look

Kot ponavadi, sem vam tudi tokrat, po oceni Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate bar palete (ocena tukaj), pripravila izgled z uporabo prav te palete. Ustvarila sem make-up izgled, ki ga najbolj pogosto poustvarjam in ki je zame bolj dnevno-dramatičen. Upam, da vam bo všeč.

As usual I prepared a make-up look after reviewing the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate bar palette (review here), using that palette. I did the make-up look that I create most of the time and that is more of a daily-dramatic look for me. I hope you’ll like it.

Najprej sem oko pripravila z bazo. Prvo senčilo, ki sem ga uporabila je bilo Mousse (1.), ki mi je služilo kot prehodna barva, prav tako pa sem ga potegnila v gubo veke. To sem ponovila 2-3x. Nato sem nadaljevala z rahlo ožjim blending čopičem in nanesla Peanut Butter (2.) v samo gubo veke, da sem dala veki malo več dimenzije, več raznolikosti. Pazila sem, da nisem šla previsoko. Tudi to sem ponovila parkrat. Ko sta bili senčili lepo zblendani, razmazani, sem nadaljevala.

First I prepared my eyelid with a base. The first eyeshadow I used was Mousse (1.) that served as an transitional shade and I also pulled it lower in the eye crease. I repeated this step 2-3x. Then I continued with a more narrow blending brush and applied Peanut Butter (2.) only in the crease to give the eyelid a little more dimension, more diversity. I was careful not to go too high. I also repeated this a few times. When the eyeshadows were nicely blended I continued.

Nato sem v zunanji kotiček za poglobitev nanesla malo Truffled senčila (3.) s ploščatim čopičem in ga s čopičem za blendanje razmazala. To sem ponovila dvakrat. Nadaljevala sem s ploščatim čopičem, s katerim sem nanesla Bon Bon (4.) čez celo veko a le do očesne gube. S tanjšim čopičem za bledanje in z Peanut Butter senčilom sem popravila prehod med senčili.

Then I applied a little bit of Truffled eyeshadow (3.) with a flat brush on my outer eye corner for a little depth and blended it with a blending brush. I repeated this step twice. I continued with a flat brush that I used to apply Bon Bon (4.) over my whole eyelid but only up to the crease. I went over with a more narrow blending brush and Penut Butter eyeshadow to fix the transitions between the eyeshadows.

Na spodnjo veko sem najprej na notranji rob nanesla Catrice Kohl Kajal v odtenku Blue I Know You? (moder svinčnik), nato pa tik ob trepalnicah s tankim čopičem razmazala črtalo z Blueberry swirl (5.) senčilom. Da sem modro senčilo malo ublažila sem na spodnjo veko nanesla še Peanut Butter senčilo. V notranje kotičke in pod obrvi sem nanesla senčilo Butter Pecan (6.). ter na spodnje in zgornje trepalnice nanesla maskaro.

First I applied Catrice Kohl Kajal in Blue I Know You? (blue pencil) on my waterline and then blended it together with Blueberry Swirl eyeshadow (5.) and a pencil brush right under my lashes. To tone the blue down a little I applied some Peanut Butter on the lower eyelid. In my inner corners and under my eyebrows I applied Butter Pecan (6.) and mascara to the lower and upper eyelashes.

Če bi tale izgled uporabila zvečer, bi definitivno nanesla še črno ali rjavo črtalo in dodala umetne trepalnice, za malo več dramatičnosti, tako pa sem črtalo in trepalnice izpustila. Seznam ostalih izdelkov, ki sem jih uporabila je spodaj. Vam je bil ta look všeč?

If I would use this look for nigh time I would definitely apply black or brown eyeliner and add some false eyelashes to be more dramatic, but this time I didn’t use them. List of the other products I used is down below. Did you like this look?

Bitten & Burlesque make-up look

Kot obljubljeno sem vam danes pripravila make-up izgled z uporabo Makeup Geek senčil Bitten in Burlesque, ki sem ju ocenila v prejšnji objavi. Prav tako sem vam izdala, da bom naredila zadimljen videz oči na moj način. To je prav tako moj prvi bolj dramatičen izgled, ki sem vam ga pripravila. Upam, da vam bo všeč.

As promised I prepared a make-up look for you today using Makeup Geek eyeshadows Bitten and Burlesque that I reviewed in the previous post. I also revealed that I would be doing a smokey eye look my way. This is also my first more dramatic look that I prepared for you. I hope you’ll like it.

Kot omenjeno sem uporabila senčili Bitten in Burlesque, ampak ker to seveda ni bilo dovolj, sem si pomagala tudi z drugimi Makeup Geek senčili. Najprej sem oko pripravila z bazo. Prvo senčilo, ki sem ga uporabila je bilo Latte, ki mi je služilo kot prehodna barva (1.), prav tako pa sem ga potegnila nižje, v gubo veke. To sem ponovila 2-3x. Nato sem nadaljevala z rahlo ožjim blending čopičem in nanesla Bitten v samo gubo veke (2.). Pazila sem, da nisem šla previsoko. Tudi to sem ponovila parkrat. Ko sta bili senčili lepo zblendani, razmazani, sem nadaljevala.

As mentioned I used the Bitten and Burlesque eyeshadows but because that  wasn’t enough I helped myself with other Makeup Geek shadows. First I prepared my eyelid with a base. The first eyeshadow I used was Latte that served as an transitional shade (1.) but I also pulled it lower in the eye crease. I repeated this step 2-3x. Then I continued with a more narrow blending brush and applied Bitten only in the crease (2.). I was careful not to go too high. I also repeated this a few times. When the eyeshadows were nicely blended I continued.

Ker sem si želela malo več dimenzije, sem v zunanji kotiček očesa (3.) s ploščatim čopičem nanesla Americano in ga s čopičem za blendanje razmazala. To sem ponovila dvakrat. Nadaljevala sem s ploščatim čopičem, s katerim sem nanesla Burlesque čez celo veko a le do očesne gube. S tanjšim čopičem za bledanje in z Bitten senčilom sem popravila prehod med senčili. Nanesla sem črni gel eyeliner za še bolj dramatičen izgled.

Because I wanted a little more dimension I applied Americano with a flat brush on my outer eye corner (3.) and blended it with a blending brush. I repeated this step twice. I continued with a flat brush that I used to apply Burlesque over my whole eyelid but only up to the crease. With a more narrow blending brush and Bitten eyeshadow I went over the crease one more time to blend it together. I applied black gel eyeliner for an even more dramatic look.

Na spodnjo veko sem ob trepalnicah nanesla Bitten in senčilo malo zblendala s senčilom Latte. Nanesla sem maskaro na spodnje in zgornje trepalnice. Da sem oko malo odprla sem v notranje kotičke nanesla pikico senčila Shimma Shimma in na notranji rob spodnje veke Stila barvico za oči v odtenku Topaz (bež).

I applied Bitten on the lower eyelid by the lashes and blended the eyeshadow with a little Latte shadow. I applied mascara to the lower and upper eyelashes. To open the eye a little I put a dot of Shimma Shimma in the inner corner of the eye and Stila Topaz (beige) eyeliner on my waterline.

Ker sem oči močno naličila, sem na obrazu uporabila bolj nežne, nevtralne odtenke. Za piko na i bi morala uporabiti še umetne trepalnice a ker sem hitela na piknik (tako je, takšna sem šla popoldan na piknik, ljudje so verjetno mislili, da sem zmešana :D) sem jih izpustila. Seznam ostalih izdelkov, ki sem jih uporabila je spodaj. Vam je bil ta look všeč?

Because my eyes were so dark I used more delicate, neutral shades on the face. False eyelashes would be the cherry on the top but because I was rushing to go on a picnic (yes, I went on a picnic in the middle of the day looking like this, people probably thought I was crazy :D) I skipped that. Mango Tango & Sorbet make-up look

Kot sem omenila že v prejšnji objavi, v kateri sem ocenjevala Makeup Geek senčila, sem se odločila, da ko bom ocenjevala senčila, palete, da bom v naslednji objavi tudi pokazala kako sem senčila tudi uporabila. Tako sem tokrat s senčili Mango Tango in Sorbet naredila ravno pravšnji spomladanski izgled.

As I mentioned in the previous post, in which I reviewed the Makeup Geek eyeshadows, I decided that whenever I’ll review eyeshadows, palettes, I will also show you how I used them in the next post. So this time I used Mango Tango and Sorbet to do this makeup look, just right for spring.

Ker sem potrebovala nekaj bronastega, sem uporabila še eno Makeup Geek senčilo in sicer Grandstand. Senčilo bo tudi kmalu ocenjeno. Torej za oči sem uporabila samo 3 senčila, tako da je ta izgled res enostaven za poustvarit.

Because I needed something bronzy I used another Makeup Geek shadow, namely Grandstand. The eyeshadow will be reviewed soon. Because I only used 3 eyeshadows for the eyes, this look is really easy to recreate.

Veko sem najprej pripravila z bazo za senčila in takoj nadaljevala s prehodno barvo Sorbet, katero sem nanesla v očesno gubo. Ker je senčilo res svetlo sem ga blendala navzgor proti obrvi. Ta postopek sem ponovila dvakrat. Nato sem nadaljevala kar z Mango Tango. Najprej sem ga nanesla suhega, čez celo veko a ne nad očesno gubo. Ko sem končala, sem se odločila, da ni dovolj pigmentirano in sem zato senčko nanesla na veko še mokro. To je bilo že boljše. 🙂 Da sem sredino veke malo osvetlila, sem vzela prvo zlato senčilo, ki mi je bilo pri roki in s prstom potapkala po sredini. Preden sem nadaljevala z obrazom sem z micelarno vodico in vato potegnila ob veki navzgor, da sem ustvarila ravno in čisto črto.

I primed my eyelid with an eyeshadow base and continued with the transition shade Sorbet, that I applied in my crease. Because the shade is really light I blended it upwards to the brow. I repeated this step twice. Then I continued with Mango Tango. First I applied it dry all over the lid, but not above the crease. When I finished I decided that it was not pigmented enough and applied the shadow wet. That was better. 🙂 To highlight the center of the lid I applied a gold eyeshadow, that was on hand, and dabbed it with my finger on the center of the lid. Before I continued with the face, I took my micellar water and cleaned by my eyelid upwards to create a straight and clean line.

Nadaljevala sem z obrazom, tekoči puder, korektor, puder v prahu. Nato sem dokončala oči. Ker nisem želela oranžne senčke pod očmi, sem dala na spodnjo veko Grandstand. V notranjem kotičku očesa in pod obrvjo sem osvetlila z Mary-Lou Manizer osvetljevalcem od The Balma. Osvetljevalec sem prav tako nanesla na obraz (vrh ličk, nos, brada) in za rdečilo uporabila kar Cindy-Lou Manizer. Prav tako nikoli ne grem ven brez mojega najljubšega bronzerja Beached Bronzer od Urban Decay, s katerim sem zasenčila obraz.

I continued with the face, liquid foundation, concealer, loose powder. Then I finished my eyes. Because I didn’t want an orange eyeshadow under my eyes, I used Grandstand on my lower eyelid. I highlighted in the inner corner of the eye and under the eyebrow with the Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter from The Balm. I also applied the highlighter on my face (cheekbone, nose, chin) and used Cindy-Lou Manizer as my blush. I never leave the house without my favorite bronzer from Urban Decay, the Beached Bronzer that I used to contour my face.

Ker se mi je zdelo, da nekaj manjka, sem nad trepalnicami naredila tanko črto z rjavo barvico. Uredila sem si obrvi, nanesla maskaro in zaključila z glosom na ustnicah od Khroma Beauty. Upam, da vam je bil ta enostaven izgled všeč. Kakšen izgled imate vi radi za pomlad? Pustite mi komentar.

Because I felt that something was missing I made a thin line above my eyelashes with a brown pencil. I did my brows, applied mascara and finished with a gloss on the lips from Khroma Beauty. I hope you liked this easy make-up look. What look do you like for the spring? Leave a comment.

Enobarven rožnat make-up

Tokrat sem se odločila ustvariti enobarven make-up izgled v rožnati barvi. To pomeni da sem rožnato uporabila na očeh, licih in ustnicah. Na koncu sem bila izredno zadovoljna z izgledom. 😉

This time I decided to create a monochromatic make-up look in rose/pink color. This means that I used rose/pink on my eyes, cheeks and lips. In the end I was really satisfied with the look. 😉

Za oči sem uporabila paleto, ki je pristala tudi na seznamu mojih najljubših izdelkov v letu 2015 (seznam najdete tukaj), Urban Decay Naked 3 paleto. Tako kot prejšnjič sem obkrožila senčila, ki sem jih uporabila, številke pa označujejo vrstni red po katerem sem jih nanašala. Preden sem začela s senčili sem uporabila bazo za oči. Prav tako sem ob očesu nalepila lepilni trak, da sem dobila ostro in ravno linijo. Za lažjo predstavo prilagam sliko.

For my eyes I used a palette that was on my most favorite products in 2015 list (you can find it here), Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. I circled the eyeshadows I used, the numbers indicate the order in which I applied them. Before I started with the shadows I used an eye base. I also applied some scotch tape next to my eye to get a sharp and straight line. I’m adding a picture for better understanding.

Potem sem začela s prvo, prehodno barvo, ki sem jo nanesla v in nad gubo očesa, od zunanjega do notranjega kotička očesa. To sem ponovila dvakrat oziroma dokler barva ni bilo lepo razporejena. Nato sem nanesla drugo barvo samo v gubo veke, da sem le-to malo poglobila. To sem prav tako ponavljala, dokler mi ni bil izgled všeč. Sledilo je tretje, najtemnejše senčilo, ki sem ga s ploščatim čopičem nanesla v zunanji trikotnik in potem s čopičem za blendanje vse skupaj razmazala (pazila sem, da nisem šla nad gubo veke). To sem ponavljala do željene intenzitete.

Then I started with the first, transition color, that I applied in and above my crease, from the outer to the inner corner of the eye. I repeated this twice or until the eyeshadow was nicely blended. Then came the second shadow just in the eye crease, to deepen it. I also repeated this until I liked how it looked. This was followed by the third, the deepest, eyeshadow which I applied on my outer triangle and blended with a blending brush (I was careful not to go above the crease). I repeated until the desired intensity.

Sledilo je četrto senčilo, ki pa ima goste bleščice in se suho ne nanese lepo, zato to senčilo vedno uporabim mokro. Tako je intenzivnost večja in senčilo se lepše oprime veke. To nanesem na celo veko, ne da bi šla nad gubo veke. Ker sem želela sredino veke še bolj osvetlili sem na sredino s prstom potapkala malo zlatega senčila. Ta korak lahko načeloma tudi preskočite. 🙂 Na koncu sem še nanesla svetlo mat senčilo pod obrvjo. Odstranim lepilni trak.

Next was the fourth eyeshadow that has a lot of glitter and it doesn’t apply nicely dry, so I always use this one wet. The intensity is greater and the shadow sticks to the eyelid better this way. I apply it to the whole lid, but not above the crease. Because I wanted to illuminate the center of the eyelid even more I patted some gold shadow in the center using my finger. This step may in principle be skipped. 🙂 In the end I applied the light matte shadow under the brow bone. I remove the tape.

Ker sta bili dve senčili z bleščicami sem predel pod očmi pobrisala s kozmetičnim robcem, da sem odstranila bleščice, ki so padle na obraz. Nato sem nadaljevala s tekočim pudrom, korektorjem, pudrom v prahu. Nato sem nanesla še bronzer, Catrice Luminizing bronzer in rdečilo, ki je bilo v tem primeru tudi rožnato in sicer Benefit Bella Bamba. Za osvetlitev obraza sem uporabila The Balm The Manizer Sisters paleto, ki sem jo ocenila tukaj. Uredila sem še obrvi kot ponavadi.

Because two of the eyeshadows had glitter, I used a cosmetics wipe to clean the glitter fallout off my face. Then I continued with the foundation, concealer, loose powder. I applied the bronzer, Catrice Luminizing bronzer and the blush, which in this case was also pink, namely Benefit Bella Bamba. To highlight my face I used The Balm The Manizer Sisters palette, that I reviewed here. I did my eyebrows as usual.

Nato sem se vrnila na oči in na spodnjo veko nanesla sedmo senčilo, v notrnji kotiček spodnje veke pa malo zadnjega, osmega senčila. Nanesla sem seveda še maskaro oziroma Stila duo, ki sem ga ocenila tukaj. Na ustnice sem nanesla Essence longlasting lipliner v odtenku Sweetheart, ki je res odlična barvica za ustnice. Tudi to sem ocenila in oceno najdete tukaj.

I then returned to my eyes and applied the seventh shadow to my lower lid, in the inner corner I put a bit of the eighth eyeshadow. Of course I also applied some mascara, I used the Stila duo, that I reviewed here. On my lips I applied the Essence Longlasting lipliner in the shade Sweetheart, which is really a great lipliner. The Balm: The Manizer Sisters

Osvetljevanje obraza je na vrhuncu popularnosti. Sama se osvetljevanja obraza poslužujem že nekaj časa, ampak trenutno sem v fazi, ko najprej pogledam kakšen osvetljevalec kdo ima. 😉 Na listi želja sem dolgo imela The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer osvetljevalec, ki je prodajni hit pri tej znamki. Ko pa sem zagledala ta trio, sem vedela da bo moj. 🙂

Highlighting the face is at the peak of its popularity. I have been highlighting my face for quite some time now, but now I’m in the phase that the first thing I do, is look which highlighter someone has. 🙂 I had Mary-Lou Manizer from The Balm, the top selling item from the brand, on my wish list for a while now. So when I saw this trio, I knew it would be mine. 🙂

The Balm ima že leta v prodaji tri sestre Manizer in sicer Mary-Lou, Cindy-Lou in Betty-Lou Manizer, ki so lani stopile skupaj v paleto. Če kupite en osvetljevalec dobite 8,5g produkta, tukaj dobite 3g vsakega produkta, kar tudi ni malo.

The Balm has sold the three Manizer sisters for years, namely Mary-Lou, Cindy-Lou and Betty-Lou Manizer, that came together in a palette last year. If you buy one highlighter by itself, you get 8,5g of product, here you get 3g of each, which is quite enough.

Meni je paleta super všeč. Že sam izgled palete je unikaten, zanimiv, lep. Paleta je kartonasta, zelo dobro narejena, pokrov je na magnet, tako da se dobro zapre. Notri je majhno ogledalo, ki je dovolj veliko za popravke čez dan. Paleta pride v kartonastem rokavu, katerega lahko zvržete, saj je podoba na rokavu enaka podobi na paleti.

I like this palette a lot. The palette itself is unique, exciting, beautiful. The palette is made of cardboard, very well made, it has a magnet lid, so it closes nicely. Inside is a small mirror, which is big enough for touch-ups during the day. The palette comes in a cardboard sleeve, that you can throw away, because the image on the sleeve is the same as the one on the palette.

Gremo kar na sam produkt. Naj pripomnim, da lahko osvetljevalce uporabite tudi kot senčila. Vsi trije osvetljevalci so izredno kremasti, ravno prav mehki, niso pudrasti, produkt se zelo lepo nanaša. Prav tako se z lahkoto razmažejo, zblendajo, in so dolgo obstojni.

Let’s go to the product. I have to state that you can use the highlighters as eyeshadows as well. All three highlighters are extremely creamy, soft enough, not powdery, the product applies very nicely. They also blend really easy and are long-wearing.

Mary-Lou je bež osvetljevalec z zlatim sijajem. Predstavljajte si barvo šampanjca. Tega tudi največ uporabljam, ko želim, da je le-ta bolj izrazit. Uporabljam ga za osvetlitev v notranjem kotičku očesa, kot tudi po celem obrazu, saj je enostavno čudovit. Cindy-Lou je v barvi breskve z rožnatim podtonom in rožnatim sijajem. Ta ima med sestrami tudi najbolj nežen sijaj. Jaz ga uporabljam čez rdečilo, da mu dam piko na i. 😉 Betty-Lou je rjave barve, s toplimi podtoni in zlatim sijajem. Tega bomo dame, s svetlo poltjo, težko uporabile kot osvetljevalec, zato ga jaz uporabim kot rdečilo oziroma čez bronzer. Poleti, ko bom bolj zagorela bom uporabljala samo to na licih.

Mary-Lou is a beige highlighter with a golden sheen. Imagine the color of champagne. I use this one the most, when I want it to be more explicit. I use it to lighten my inner eye corner and the whole face, because it’s just gorgeous.  Cindy-Lou is peachy-pink with a pink sheen. This one has the softest shine between the sisters. I use it over the blush, to top it off. 😉 Betty-Lou is brown with warm undertones and a golden sheen. Fair skin ladies won’t be able to use this as a highlighter, so I use it as a blush or over a bronzer. In the summer, when I’m more tanned, I will use it on the cheeks.

Moj vsakodnevni make-up

Od samega začetka sem imela plan, da se bom naličila, poslikala in objavila kaj sem uporabila za določen izgled. Največ težav so mi delale fotografije, saj nikoli nisem uspela dobro poslikati oči, da bi se barve lepo videle. Tokrat sem vsaj delno uspela in zato sem se tudi odločila, da bom ta vsakodnevni “look” tudi objavila. Obljubim, da se bom v bodoče potrudila, da bodo slike še boljše. 😉 Pa začnimo.

From the very beginning I had a plan, to put on make-up, take a picture and post what I used to achieve that look. The biggest problem were the photographs, because I could never photograph the eyes good enough, to show all the colors. This time I was at least partially successful so I decided to post this everyday make-up look. I promise I will try to make even better pictures in the future. 🙂 Let’s start.

Na obraz sem najprej nanesla H&M bazo za mat kožo, ki sem jo prvič poskusila, tako da ocena še sledi. Bazo sem nanesla na čelo, okoli nosu in na brado oziroma na T-predel, saj se mi tam tudi najhitreje zmasti. Potem sem nanesla tekoči puder in sicer Bourjois Healthy Mix v odtenku Vanilla 52. Sledil je korektor, H&M concealer v odtenku Ivory, ki sem ga nanesla pod očmi, na brado, okoli nosu in malenkost na sredino čela. Korektor sem fiksirala z Maybelline Dream Matte pudrom v kamnu, katerega mi je skoraj že zmanjkalo. 🙂 Preostanek obraza sem fiksirala z Maybelline Shine Free Loose pudrom, ki se je tudi znašel na lestvici najljubših izdelkov v letu 2015 (seznam najdete tukaj).

First I applied the H&M mattifying primer on my face and this is the first time I used it so the review is yet to come. I applied the primer on my forehead, around my nose and on my chin, on the T-zone, because I get greasy the fastest there. Then I applied my foundation, the Bourjois Healthy Mix in the shade Vanilla 52. Next was the H&M concealer in the shade Ivory, which I applied under my eyes, on my chin, around my nose and a bit on the center of my forehead. I set the concealer with the Maybelline Dream Matte powder, that I’m almost out of. 🙂 I set the rest of my face with the Maybelline Shine Free Loose powder, that’s also in my top favorite products in 2015 (you can find the list here).

Potem sem začela z očmi. Najprej sem nanesla bazo, Essence I heart stage eyeshadow base, katero sem razmazala po celi veki. Za tale nežni izgled sem uporabila Zoevino Warm Spectrum paleto, ocena katere še sledi. Z rdečimi krogi so označena senčila, katera sem uporabila, številke pa označujejo vrstni red, kako sem jih nanašala.

Then I started with my eyes. First I applied the base, Essence I heart stage eyeshadow base, which I smudged all over the lid. I used the Zoeva Warm Spectrum palette for this soft look, review of which is yet to come. The red circles mark the eyeshadows that I used, the numbers indicate the order of how I applied them.

Čez bazo sem nanesla prvo senčilo po celi veki, da sem veko pripravila na nanos barvnih senčil. Najprej sem kot prehodno barvo uporabila drugo senčilo, ki sem ga nanesla nad in v gubo veke. Barvo sem nanesla parkrat, da sem jo lepo razmazala vse od zunanjega do notranjega kotička očesa. Potem sem vzela oranžno senčilo, tretje po vrsti, in ga nanesla samo v gubo veke. To sem ponavljala, dokler mi intenzivnost in izgled nista bila všeč. Nato je sledilo četrto senčilo, ki sem ga nanesla čez veko, od trepalnic do pregiba. Ker se mi ni zdelo dovolj pigmentirano, sem se odločila čopič navlažiti in tako nanesti senčilo na veko. Na koncu sem vzela še enkrat širši čopič s katerim sem nanesla prehodno barvo in brez senčila šla čez gubo veke in višje, da sem barve med seboj lepo povezala. Na koncu sem pod obrvmi nanesla še svetlo mat, peto, senčilo. V notranjih kotičkih očes sem nanesla še svetlo senčilo s sijajem. Na spodnji veki sem takoj pod trepalnicami nanesla čokoladno rjavo, sedmo, senčilo in ga skupaj z osmim senčilom razmazala do želene intenzitete. Nato je sledila maskara, uredila sem obrvi in oči so bile končane.

I applied the first eyeshadow over the base, over the whole lid, and this way I prepared my eyelid for the application of colorful eyeshadows. I applied the second eyeshadow as the transition color, above the crease and in the crease. I applied the color a few times, until it was evenly blended from the outer to the inner corner of the eye. Then I took the orange eyeshadow, third in a row, and applied it only to my crease. I repeated this step until I was happy with the intensity and the appearance. The fourth eyeshadow was the next step, which I applied on my lid, from the lash line to the crease. Since it did not seem pigmented enough I decided to wet my brush and apply the eyeshadow that way. Finally I took my blending brush that was used to apply my transition shade and I blended the colors in the crease and higher again, without any additional eyeshadow. In the end I applied the light matte, fifth, eyeshadow, under my eyebrows. In the inner corners of my eyes I decided to apply the light eyeshadow with the shimmer. On my lower lid, just below the eyelashes, I applied the chocolate brown, seventh, eyeshadow and smudged it with the eight eyeshadow to the desired intensity. I applied mascara, did my eyebrows and the eyes were finished.

Na koncu sem se spet vrnila na obraz, kamor sem nanesla bronzer, Too Faced Sun Bunny bronzer, s katerim sem obraz rahlo konturirala. Za rdečilo sem uporabila Spectrum Coral paleto od Zoeve, kjer sem uporabila najsvetlejšo barvo. Za konec pa sem še nanesla osvetljevalec in sicer The Balm Cindy-Lou Manizer, katerega sem nanesla na vrh ličnic. Na ustnice sem nanesla Bobbi Brown lip gloss, Pink beige 21, in to je bilo to.

In the end I returned to my face again, where I applied some bronzer, Too Faced Sun Bunny bronzer, that I used to slightly contour my face. For the blush I used the Spectrum Coral palette from Zoeva, where I used the lightest color. Finally I applied the highlighter, The Balm Cindy-Lou Manizer, which I applied on the top of my cheeks. I used Bobby Brown lip gloss, Pink beige 21, and that was it.

Če nimate Zoeva Warm Spectrum palete potem ne skrbite, saj so katera koli senčila v podobnih barvah enako dobra. If you don’t have the Zoeva Warm Spectrum palette, don’t worry, any other eyeshadows in similar colors will be good as well. Essence: Shape your face contouring palette

Tale paleta za konturing je izgledala privlačno v trgovini in ker me je Essence že parkrat pozitivno presenetil in nimam še take palete, sem se odločila, da jo bom poskusila. Na voljo sta v dveh različicah, jaz sem vzela 10 ready, set, peach!, ki je bolj topla različica.

This contouring palette looked really attractive in the store and because Essence did positively surprise me a couple of times and I don’t have a palette like this, I decided to try it out. You can get it in two versions and I took 10 ready, set, peach!, which is the warmer version.

Paleta je v prozorni plastični embalaži, kot večina njihovih izdelkov. Nič posebnega, ampak opravi svoje delo. Najprej imamo mat bronzer, potem je na vrsti mat osvetljevalec in na koncu rdečilo, ki ima drobne bleščice. Najbolj me je zmotilo to, da v Mullerju niso imeli testerja, tako da barv nisem mogla preizkusiti tam, ampak sem jih komaj doma. Bronzer je zelo trd. Barva se s težavo prenese na prst, s čopičem gre malo lažje. Bronzer je malenkost bolj topel, kot bi bilo primerno za senčenje obraza, ampak meni to odgovarja. Z bronzerjem grem čez določeno mesto večkrat, saj ni zelo pigmentiran. Sam odtenek na meni izgleda dobro. V primeru, da ste začetnica in vas je strah, da ne bi preveč nanesle, potem je ta bronzer pravi za vas. 🙂

The palette is in a transparent plastic packaging, like the majority of their products. Nothing special, it does the job. First, we have a matte bronzer, then comes the matte highlighter and in the end, the blush with shimmer. What bothered me the most, was that Muller didn’t have any testers to swatch the colors, so I did that when I got home. The bronzer is very hard. It’s hard to pick up the color with the finger, it’s a bit easier with the brush. The bronzer is slightly warmer then it would be appropriate for contouring, but I like it. I go over one spot a few times with the bronzer, because it’s not that pigmented. The shade itself looks good on me. In case you are a beginner and you are afraid that you will apply too much, then this bronzer is the one for you. 🙂

Naravna svetloba / Natural light

Osvetljevalec mi sploh ni všeč, ker je mat. Sama imam rada če ima osvetljevalec sijaj. Prav tako je bolj mehak kot bronzer a hkrati zelo pudrast. Sama sem ga uporabljala za fiksiranje korektorja pod očmi, ampak niti za to se ni obnesel. Sama barva je dovolj svetla, da lepo osvetli predel pod očmi, ampak ne glede na to, kateri korektor sem uporabila, v roku pol ure, je bil ta v majhnih gubicah. To se mi nikoli ne dogaja z MAC-ovim Pro Longwear korektorjem, ki je pri meni številka ena. Zdaj pa se je. Zato sem osvetljevalec tudi nehala uporabljati.

I don’t like the highlighter at all, because it’s matte. I myself like highlighters with a sheen. Also it’s a lot softer then the bronzer but at the same time very powdery. I used it to set my concealer under my eyes, but it didn’t work for that either. The color itself is light enough, so it lightens the under eye area, but no matter which concealer I used, within half an hour, it creased and set in my fine lines. This never happens with my MAC Pro Longwear concealer, which is my number one. This time it did. That’s also why I stopped using the highlighter.

Rdečilo je v barvi breskve z drobnimi zlatimi bleščicami in čeprav mi je všeč in tudi sama tekstura je najboljša od vseh, pa ga skoraj nikoli ne uporabim, saj že po sami paleti redko posegam. Rdečilo se lepo nanaša, bleščice dajo lep zlat sijaj in niso preveč opazne na obazu, saj so res zelo drobne. Tudi pigmentirano je dovolj, da z enim nanosom dobimo pravo količino produkta na licih. Mogoče sem trenutno še preveč bleda za ta odtenek in bom več posegala po njemu poleti, ko bom malo bolj zagorela.

The blush is a peach color with gold shimmer and although I like it and the texture is the best of all, I rarely use it, because I don’t reach for the palette itself. The blush applies nicely, the shimmer gives a nice golden sheen and it’s not that visible on the face, because it’s really fine. One coat is enough to get the right amount of product on the cheeks, because the pigmentation is good. Maybe I’m currently too pale for this shade and I’ll use it more in the summer, when I get a tan.

Če pogledam na produkt kot celoto, potem moram priznati, da me ni navdušil. Ni zelo slab, kot tudi ne zelo dober. Za začetnice bi bronzer bil dober, saj ga lahko naknadno poglobimo. Osvetljevalec je v mojih očeh neuporaben, rdečilo pa je po kvaliteti zelo dobro. Paleto sem kupila v Mullerju in zanjo odštela okrog 4,50€. Sama je ne bi več kupila, saj imam veliko produktov, ki so boljši.

If I look at the product as a whole, then I have to admit that it didn’t impress me. It’s not very bad as it’s not very good. The bronzer would be good for beginners, because we can deepen it. The highlighter is in my eyes useless, the blush is very good. I bought the palette in Muller and paid around 4,50€. I wouldn’t repurchase, because I have a lot of products that are better.

Moji najljubši izdelki leta 2015 #2

Tukaj je še druga skupina izdelkov, ki so bili moji najljubši v letu 2015. V tej skupini boste našli ličila in izdelke, katere potrebujemo za ličenje. Prva skupina mojih najljubših izdelkov se nahaja tukaj. Pa začnimo! 😉

Here is the second group of products that were my favorites in the year 2015. This group will include make-up and products we need to apply it. You can find the first group of my favorite products here. Let’s start! 😉

1. BEAUTY BLENDER

Leta in leta sem bila privrženka nanosa tekočega pudra s čopiči, dokler se nisem končno odločila poskusit s to gobico. Kupila sem jo lani januarja in od takrat uporabljam čopič za nanos samo ko potujem, ker gobica oziroma »jajčka« se mora prej posušiti preden jo lahko pospravim. Ne bom razlagala kako se uporabi, rekla bom samo to: Potrebujete jo. 🙂 Jaz sem v enem letu kupila 2, kar pomeni, da mi ena, ob pravilni uporabi, čiščenju, zdrži pol leta, mogoče tudi več.

For years I was a fan of applying foundation with brushes untill I finally decided to try out this sponge. I bought it in January last year and since then I use a brush to apply foundation only when I’m traveling, because the sponge needs to dry before I can pack it. I won’t explain how to use it but I will say this: You need it. 🙂 I bought 2 in a year, which means that one, when properly used and cleaned, will last mi 6 months, maybe even more.

2. ZOEVA 317 ČOPIČ ZA ČRTALO / 317 WING LINER

Ker so Zoeva čopiči moji najljubši čopiči, je edino prav, da vsaj enega omenim. Dolgo sem razmišljala kateri je moj najljubši in končno sem se odločila, da je to čopič za črtalo št. 317. Ker je čopič tanek in odrezan pod večjim kotom, kot so čopiči za črtalo ponavadi, je lažje narediti »wing liner«. Jaz uporabljam ta čopič tako za gel liner kot tudi za delanje črte s senčilom. Zame je ta čopič res top.

Since Zoeva brushes are my favorite brushes it’s only right that I mention al least one. I thought long and hard about which brush is my favorite and I finally decided that it’s the 317 liner brush. Since the bristles are thin and cut in a greater angle than liner brushes usually are, it’s easier to do a winged liner. I use this brush for gel liner as for creating a line with eyeshadow. For me this brush is the bomb.

3. ESSENCE GEL MASCARA MAKE ME BROW EYEBROW

Moje obrvi ne zahtevajo preveč dela, ampak malo jih moram vseeno uredit in ta izdelek je ravno pravšnji. Obarvan gel vsebuje drobna vlakna, ki zapolnijo obrvi, gel pa jih utrdi da le-te ostanejo na mestu. Gel nanašam v nasprotni smeri rasti obrvi, da se vlakna boljše oprimejo obrvi, nato pa še v smeri rasti, da jih počešem. Na voljo sta 2 barvi, jaz uporabljam temnejšo rjavo in mi popolnoma ustreza. Gel uporabljam vsak dan, ko nosim ličila in je zame top izdelek za urejanje obrvi.

My eyebrows do not require too much work but I still need to groom them a bit and this product is just right for that. The colored gel containes tiny fibers that fill the eyebrows, the gel itself makes them stay in place. I apply the gel in the opposite direction of the growth so the fibers in the gel stick to the eyebrows and then in the direction of the growth to comb them. There are 2 colors to schoose from and I use the darker one which fits me perfectly. I use the gel every time I wear make-up and for me this is a top product for my brows.

4. CATRICE LUMINIZING OSVETLJEVALEC / LUMINIZING HIGHLIGHTER (LUMINATION LIMITED EDITION)

Čeprav je ta izdelek iz omejene kolekcije ga enostavno moram omeniti, saj je par mesecev bil edini osvetljevalec, katerega sem uporabljala. Osvetljevalec je bež barve s temnejšim marmoriranjem in z nevtralnim podtonom. Ni pudrast, lepo se nanaša in super osvetli predele obraza. Ker je nevtralen ga lahko uporabim ne glede na to kakšen za make-up izgled sem se odločila. Čeprav sem ga uporabljala skoraj vsak dan par mesecev, se poraba komajda pozna. Catrice je izdal nov osvetljevalec, ki izgleda podobno, vendar ga še nisem uspela primerjat, da bi vam lahko povedala, če bo nadomestil tega.

Although this item is from a limited edition collection I still have to mention it, because for a few months this was the only highlighter I used. The highlighter is beige with darker marbling and neutral undertones. It’s not powdery, it applies nicely and it highlights the face really well. Since it’s neutral I can use it with any kind of make-up look I decide. Although I used it almost every day for a few weeks I can barely see any usage. Catrice came out with a new highlighter that looks very similar, but I hadn’t had the chance to try it out to let you know if it’s going to replace this one.

5. MAYBELLINE SHINE FREE LOOSE POWDER

O tem pudru nisem slišala veliko. V oko mi je padel, ko ga je ena blogerka omenila v svojem videu. Odločila sem se da ga poskusim in še dobro, da sem ga. Puder je zelo fino mlet, dobro matira in je skoraj neviden na koži. Jaz ga uporabim vsakič, da fiksiram tekoči puder in da matiram obraz. Čeprav imam mastno T območje, mi ta puder pomaga, da ostanem mat vsaj par ur, preden potrebujem popravek. Tudi ko ga naknadno nanesem še vedno izgleda zelo naravno. Puder je obarvan, jaz ga imam v odtenku 01 light (svetlo).

I didn’t hear much about this powder. I saw it when a beauty blogger mentioned it in a video. I decided to try it out and it’s a good thing I did. The powder is finely milled, mattifies good and is almost invisible on the skin. I use it everytime to set my fundation and to mattify my face. Although my T zone is greasy, this powder really helps me stay matte for at least few hours before I need to reapply. Even when I reapply it it still looks natural. The powder is colored and I have it in the color 01 light.

6. MAC – RDEČILO MARGIN / MARGIN BLUSH

MAC rdečila poznam in uporabljam že dolgo. Tega nisem. Na prvi pogled mogoče ne izgleda nič posebnega. Bež, rahlo bronasto rdečilo s toplimi podtoni. Ko pa sem začela malo raziskovati po spletu in sem videla kako dejansko izgleda na koži pa sem ga morala imeti. Barvo opisujejo kot breskvo z drobnimi zlatimi bleščicami in s frost finišem. Na licu bleščic ne zaznam, samo lep sijaj. Barva je primerna za poletno zagorelo kožo, kot tudi pozimi za »otoplitev« obraza. Jaz ga uporabljam za naravni izgled, torej ko imam na sebi le korektor, maskaro in Margin na licih. Jaz več ne potrebujem za vsakdan.

I’ve known and used MAC blushes for long. Not this one. At first sight it doesn’t look special. Beige, a bit bronzy with warm undertones. When I started exploring online and saw how it actually looks on the skin I knew I had to have it. They describe the color as a warm peach with gold shimmer and a frost finish. I can’t see the shimmer on the cheeks, just a nice shine. The color is suitable for skin with a summer tan as well as in the winter time to warm up the cheeks. I use it for a natural look, when I have only a corrector, mascara and Margin on the cheeks. I don’t need anything more for an everyday look.

7. NYX SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM

Tudi ta izdelek ni nov pa kljub temu je bil pri meni to leto skoz v uporabi. Kupila sem 3 barve (Morocco, Prague in Stockholm ). Morroco je bila v uporabi skozi poletje, saj je lepa živo oranžna, Prague je bila v uporabi celo jesen, Stockholm pa kadarkoli sem želela bolj nevtralne ustnice. Šminka se lepo razmazuje, ne posuši se prehitro, tako da nanos ni otežen, ko se pa posuši se več ne prenaša ni pa odporna na hrano ali pijačo, tako da so popravki čez čas potrebni. Šminka ima mat finiš, ustnic mi ne izsuši in bledi enakomerno. Aplikator je gobica in je dovolj natančen, da jih lahko nanesem tudi brez barvice za ustnice. Jaz sem moje kupila na Ebayu, imajo jih tudi v Douglasu v Avstriji.

This product is not new as well but I used it the whole year. I bought 3 colors (Morocco, Prague and Stockholm ). I used Morocco the whole summer because it’s a bright orange color, Prague the whole autumn and Stockholm when I wanted a more nude lip. The lipstick spreads evenly, it doesn’t dry too fast, so the application is easy. When the lipstick dries it does not transfer but it’s not resistant to eating or drinking so I do need to reapply after a time. The lipstick has a matte finish, it doesn’t dry my lips out and it fades evenly. It has a doe foot applicator which is precise enough so I can apply the cream even without a lip pencil. I bought my on Ebay, but they have them in Douglas in Austria as well.

8. ESSIE FIFTH AVENUE

Essie lake poznam že dolgo. Po kvaliteti so kar visoko v mojih očeh, saj so obstojni in se po večini lepo nanašajo. Poleti sem iskala oranžno rdeči lak in punce na slovenskem forumu Planet Lepote so mi predlagale tega. Nisem potrebovala veliko prepričevanja in lak je šel z menoj. Od prvega trenutka, ko sem ga uporabila, je bila ljubezen na prvi pogled. Kadarkoli sem ga uporabila sem vedno dobila veliko komplimentov in večino poletja in jeseni je bil to edini lak, katerega sem uporabljala.

I’ve known about Essie nail polishes for a long time. They rank quite high by the quality in my eyes, because they resist chipping for a long time and they usually apply really nicely. I was looking for a orange red polish in the summer and the girls from the Slovenian forum Planet Lepote suggested this one. I did not need much persuasion and I took it home with me. It was love at first sight from the moment I tried it. Anytime I would use it I would get a lot of compliments and it was the only polish I used in the summer and autumn time.

9. URBAN DECAY NAKED 3

Paleto sem imela dolgo na listi želja, dokler mi je sestra ni uresničila in kupila januarja za rojstni dan. Paleta ni nova, tako da jo sigurno že dobro poznate, swatchev je ogromno na internetu, tako da jih jaz ne bom delala. Jaz jo uporabljam za vsakodnevni izgled, večerni izgled, v glavnem primerna je za vse situacije. Senčke so dobro pigmentirane, primerno mehke, se dobro nanašajo in razmazujejo oziroma »blendajo«. Paleto sem uporabljala večino časa v letu 2015 in zato je tudi pristala med mojimi najljubšimi izdelki.

I had this palette on my wish list for a long time, untill my sister bought it for me for my birthday in January. The palette is not new so you probably already heard about it and there is a bunch of swatches on the internet so I won’t be doing them. I use it for an everyday look, night time look, it’s generally suitable for any situations. The shadows are nicely pigmented, soft, they apply and blend easilly. I used this palette most of the time in 2015 and that’s also why it landed among my favorite products.

10. THE BALM DESERT BRONZER

Odkar so mi vzeli iz prodaje najljubši bronzer (Too Faced Peach Leopard bronzer) sem iskala nekaj vsaj približno podobnega. Takoj, ko sem ga zagledala sem vedela, da čeprav ni identičen nadomestek, je pa nekaj, kar lahko uporabljam kot bronzer ali tudi kot rdečilo in bronzer v enem. Bronzer je srednje temen, rozasto rjav s toplimi podtoni in sijajem. Barva se lepo prenaša na lice in se lahko z dodatnim nanosom še poglobi. Hitro je pristal na prvem mestu med mojimi bronzerji in mislim, da bo tam nekaj časa tudi ostal.

Since they discontinued my favorite bronzer (Too Faced Peach Leopard bronzer) I was looking for something similar. As soon as I saw this one I knew that although it’s not going to be an identical dupe it is something that I can use as a bronzer or even as a blush and bronzer in one. The bronzer in medium dark, rosy brown with warm undertones and a luminous finish. The color transfers nicely to the cheek and can be deepened with a heavier application. It quickly landed in first place among my bronzers and I think that it will stay there for a while.
