OGX: Coconut Water weightless hydration oil

Ponavadi, ko kupim kakšen izdelek impulzivno, nimam sreče in izdelek v veliki večini ni dober. Sedaj pa sem že parkrat imela srečo in nazadnje, ko sem bila v drogeriji (takrat sem tudi kupila L.O.V glos, ki je trenutno moj najljubši – ocena tukaj) sem slučajno zagledala tole. Ker rada poskrbim za svoje lase in ker mi kokos zelo lepo diši, kokosovo olje pa je dobro za lase, sem se odločila poskusiti.

Usually when I buy a product impulsively I don’t have luck with it and it’s usually not good. But lately I’ve been having luck and the last time I visited the drugstore (that’s also when I bought the L.O.V gloss, that is currently my favorite – review here) I accidentally saw this. Because I like to take care of my hair and because I like the scent of coconut, coconut oil is also good for your hair, I decided to try it out.

Kokosova voda je pakirana v prozorno plastično embalažo s špricalko. Všeč mi je, da je prozorna, da vidim koliko produkta še imam. Špricalka je zelo dobra saj prši izredno fino in tako lepo prekrije lase. Sama kokosova voda je brezbarvna in seveda diši po kokosu. Sam vonj je precej umeten in močan, tako da če vam kokos ne diši, vam tole odsvetujem. Vonj se radiši po par urah, jaz ga drugi dan več sploh ne zaznam. Ker voda vsebuje kokosovo olje deluje kot suho olje, saj se hitro vpije, pusti pa lep lesk na laseh.

The coconut water is packaged in a transparent plastic packaging with a spray. I like that it’s transparent so I can see how much product I have left. The spray works really well because it sprays the water very fine and it coats the hair nicely. The coconut water is colorless and of course it smells like coconut. The scent itself is pretty artificial and strong so if you don’t like the scent of coconut I don’t recommend this to you. The scent fades after a few hours, I don’t smell it the next day at all. Since the water contains coconut oil it acts like dry oil because it absorbs quickly but leaves a nice shine on the hair.

Organix trdi, da bi naj voda vaše lase navlažila in jim dala lesk s pomočjo kokosove vode, elektrolitov in kančkom kokosovega olja. Kokosova voda in olje sta nekje na sredini med sestavinami kar ni tako slabo. Sama lase umijem, jih posušim malenkost v brisači in po tem, ko jih razčešem jih pošpricam s produktom. Produkt nanesem le na konice oziroma na spodnji del las in lase nato spet razčešem, da ga še bolje razporedim po laseh.

Organix claims that the water is supposed to hydrate the hair and give it shine with the help of coconut water, electrolytes and a hint of coconut oil. The coconut water and oil are somewhere in the middle of the ingredients which is not bad at all. I wash my hair, towel dry it and after combing it I spray the hair with the product. I apply the product on my hair ends only and then comb my hair again to spread it even better.

Ker so moje konice izredno suhe in uničene in tudi izgledajo suhe ter so brez leska, lahko rečem, da tale produkt res naredi moje lase, konice, sijoče in zdrave pri tem pa las ne obteži ali jih naredi mastne. Lasje so sijoči do naslednjega umivanja. Jaz sem s produktom zadovoljna in predvidevam, da ga bom še kupila. Kupila sem ga v Mullerju in za  118ml sem odštela zanj okoli 7€.

Because my hair ends are extremely dry and damaged and they also look really dry and dull I can say that this product does make my hair, my hair ends, shiny and healthy without weighing my hair or making it greasy. The hair stays shiny until the next wash. I’m happy with the product and I assume that I’ll buy it again. I bought it in Muller and paid around 7€ for 118ml.

Lush: Big Shampoo

Ker od Lusha še nisem nikoli poskusila ničesar za lase in ker sem prebrala v glavnem dobre stvari o tem šamponu, sem se odločila, da ga poskusim. Prav tako naj omenim že sedaj, da šampona nisem nabavila, ker bi si želela večjega volumna, ampak ker sem imela grozne težave s prhljajem zadnje leto in pol.

Because I’ve never tried anything for hair from Lush and because I read mostly good things about this shampoo I decided to try it out. Also I should mention that I didn’t get the shampoo because I wanted more volume but because I was having terrible problems with dandruff for the last year and a half.

Lush trdi, da je bil ta šampon ustvarjen za čudovit volumen in lesk. Šampon vsebuje veliko grobe morske soli, morske alge in kokos za mehkobo las ter sveže limone in limete za lesk. Moja prva misel pa je bila ta, da morska voda oziroma morska sol ne more škoditi pa še piling lasišča lahko naredim. Prav tako pa limona in limeta pomagata pri boju s prhljajem.

Lush claims that this shampoo was made for volume and shine. The shampoo contains a lot of coarse sea salt, seaweed and coconut for hair softness and fresh lemon and lime for shine. My first thought was that sea water or sea salt can’t be harmful and I can exfoliate my scalp as well. Also lemon and lime are good in fighting dandruff.

Šampon je pakiran v Lushevem velikem črnem lončku. Šampon je belkaste barve in precej gost zaradi soli. Vonj je precej nežen, svež, rahlo sladek z dodatki citrusov. Meni izredno lepo diši in me spominja na morje. Najbolj me je skrbelo, če se bo šampon spenil, ker sama ne maram šamponov, ki se ne penijo. Na moje začudenje se šampon izredno lepo speni. Sama zajamem količino polovice oreha in jo vmasiram v lasišče. Ker ne uporabljam izdelkov za oblikovanje las šamponiram samo lasišče. Sol poskušam čim bolje vmasirati, čeprav nekaj soli pade z las med umivanjem.

The shampoo is packed in a big, black Lush pot. The shampoo is white-ish and pretty thick because of the salt. The scent is pretty gentle, fresh, slightly sweet with a hint of citrus. I really like the smell and it reminds me of the sea. My biggest concern was if the shampoo is going to lather because I don’t like shampoos that don’t lather. To my amazement the shampoo lathers really nicely. I take about half a walnut of the shampoo and massage it into my scalp. Because I don’t use any hair styling products I shampoo only the scalp. I try to massage the salt as good as I can into my scalp although some of the salt does fall off the hair while washing it.

Všeč mi je tisti škripajoč občutek čistosti, ki mi ga šampon nudi, kljub temu pa mi lasišča in las ne izsuši. Izpere se brez težav. Najbolj sem bila presenečena nad tem, da sem že po prvem umivanju imela precej manj prhljaja, sedaj po dveh mesecih uporabe, pa sem se ga rešila dokončno. Lasišče je zdravo, lasje sijoči. Kar se tiče volumna, se v to nisem kaj veliko spuščala, saj imam sama izredno goste in težke lase, tako da mi razen Paul Mitchell Extra Daily Body Boost spreja (kratka ocena tukaj) nič ne pomaga pri tem. Lahko si pa predstavljam, da puncam z veliko “lažjimi” lasmi, doda tudi nekaj volumna.

I like the squeaky clean feeling the shampoo gives me but it doesn’t dry out my scalp or hair though. It washes out without a problem. I was mostly surprised by the fact that already after the first wash I had significantly less dandruff and now after two months of using it I got rid off it finally. The scalp is healthy the hair is shiny. As for the volume I didn’t go into that because I have really thick and heavy hair so nothing but Paul Mitchell’s Extra Daily Body Boost spray (short review here) helps with that. However, I can image that if you have “lighter” hair it does probably add some volume.

Za šampon boste v Lushu odštele 18,95€ za 330g, kar bo meni dovolj za pol leta ali še več, saj lase umivam le dvakrat tedensko. Šampon priporočam tudi, če nimate prhljaja in imate radi zdrav lesk ter popoln občutek čistosti lasišča. Ste že poskusili kakšen šampon ali balzam od Lusha? Kaj še priporočate?

You will pay 18,95€ for 330g in Lush that I’ll have enough for half a year or even more because I wash my hair only twice a week. I also recommend the shampoo if you don’t have dandruff and you like a healthy shine and a complete feeling of a clean scalp. Did you try a shampoo or conditioner from Lush? What do you recommend?

Nuxe: Huile Prodigieuse

Olja mi niso najbolj pri srcu, čeprav imam precej suho kožo na telesu, saj ne maram mastnega občutka na koži. Kljub temu, sem bila tega olja vesela. Imela sem že olje od Nuxea z bleščicami in ni mi bilo všeč, saj je bilo za moj občutek veliko preveč bleščic in pri uporabi so se zalepile na dlan in le s težavo sem jih umila. Prav tako pa je to olje kultno in vesela sem, da ga imam v svoji kolekciji.

Although I have quite dry skin I don’t like oils too much, because I don’t like the greasy feeling on my skin. Nevertheless I was happy to get this oil. I’ve had a Nuxe oil with shimmer before and I didn’t like it, because it was too shimmery for my taste and the shimmer stuck to my palm while using it and I had difficulty washing it off. Also this is a cult oil and I’m happy to have it in my collection.

Moje olje ima embalažo iz omejene kolekcije in čeprav je embalaža izredno seksi in čudovita pa me moti, ker ne vidim koliko produkta je še ostalo. Drugače pa izredno šik črna steklenička z zlatim pokrovom in zlato špricalko ter z zlatim napisom. Špricalka dobro deluje. Všečno. 🙂

My oil is in a limited edition package and although the packaging is extremely sexy and gorgeous it bothers me that I can’t see how much product is left inside. Otherwise it’s an extremely chic black bottle with a gold cap and spray and gold lettering. The spray works well. Cute. 🙂

Nuxe trdi, da je Huile Prodigieuse suho olje z edinstveno koncentracijo dragocenih rastlinskih olj in vitamina E, ki hrani, obnavlja in mehča kožo obraza, telesa in lase. Edinstvena mešanica 6 dragocenih rastlinskih olj (lešnik, makadamija, boreč, šentjanževka, kamelija, sladki mandelj) in nežne dišave koži podajo žametni občutek, lasje postanejo svileni, vidnost strij se zmanjša.

Nuxe states that Huile Prodigieuse is a dry oil with a unique concentration of valuable plant oils and vitamin E which nourishes, repairs and softens the skin of the face, body and hair. The unique blend of 6 precious plant oils (Hazelnut, Macadamia, Borage, St. John’s Wort, Camellia, Sweet Almond) and delicate fragrance leave the skin feeling velvety, hair becomes silky, the visibility of stretch marks is reduced.

To da je olje lahko suho je zame največja uganka, saj se mi zdi totalno nasprotje, vendar pa sem že doživela da je bilo olje “suho”. Tako je tudi s tem oljem. Ob zmernem nanosu se olje hitro vpije in ne obsedi na koži. A pozor, pri večjih količinah se ne vpije, ampak ostane na koži. Pri meni se je zgodilo podobno, verjetno zato, ker sem ga uporabljala v pasji vročini (35°C in več) in se je olje izločalo skupaj s potom. Olje sem uporabljala le v primeru, ko sem imela oblečene kratke hlače, obleko, majčko brez rokavov in ga nanesla na noge in roke. Olje se lepo razmaže, kožo nahrani in da čudovit sijaj.

For me the greatest enigma is how can an oil be dry, because I find that to be totally opposite, but I have experienced an oil being “dry”. So it was with this one as well. When used moderately the oil absorbs quickly and doesn’t sit on the skin. But beware, when using too much the oil doesn’t absorb, but it stays on the skin. I had a similar experience, probably because I used it in intense heat (35°C and more) and the oil secreted with the sweat. I used the oil only when I wore shorts, dress, sleeveless shirt and applied it to my legs and arms. The oils spreads nicely, it nourishes the skin and gives a wonderful glow.

Če preidem k vonju. Meni diši čudovito, po poletju. Je rahlo sladek, na trenutke me spominja na olje/kremo za sončenje, ampak bolj prefinjeno. Zaznam oreščke. Občasno si malo olja pošpricam na roko samo zaradi vonja. Ker je vonj precej močan in ostane na koži kar dolgo vam priporočam, da olje povohate preden ga kupite. Zaenkrat olje uporabljam le na koži telesa. Za obraz se mi ne zdi primerno, za lase pa bom ga še poskusila, vendar predvidevam, da je potrebno biti pazljiv pri količini nanosa.

If I turn to the scent. It smells beautiful to me, like summer. Slightly sweet, at times it reminds me of sunscreen, but more sophisticated. I recognize nuts. Occasionally I spritz a bit of oil on my arm just because of the smell. Because the scent is quite strong and stays on the skin for quite some time, I do recommend you smell the oil before you buy it. For now I use the oil on my body only. I don’t think it’s appropriate for the face and I do plan to try it on my hair, but I assume that it’s good to be careful with the amount.

Olje bom uporabljala čez celo poletje, pozimi pa imam raje kreme in losijone za telo. Si znam predstavljati, da ko bom olje porabila, bom kupila novega, saj kaj takega enostavno morate imeti v kolekciji. Kupite ga lahko v večini lekarn kot tudi v spletnih trgovinah (lekarnar.com) in zanj boste odštele okoli 31€ za 100ml ali okoli 18€ za 50ml, odvisno od tega kje ga boste kupili.

I will use the oil throughout the summer, in the winter I prefer creams and lotions for the body. I can imagine, that when I use the oil up I will buy a new one, because you just have to have something like this in your collection. You can buy it in most pharmacies as in online stores (lekarnar.com) and you will pay around 31€ for 100ml and aroung 18€ for 50ml, depending on where you buy it.

John Frieda: Brilliant Brunette Lighter glow

Že zelo dolgo si nisem las barvala in počasi sem bila željna spremembe. Ravno takrat sem naletela na oceno tega izdelka pri eno vlogerki na Youtube-u. Hitro sem začela raziskovat in odločila sem se, da ga bom preizkusila.

It’s been a while since I dyed my hair and I was slowly eager to change that. Just then I came across a review on this product by a Youtube vlogger. I quickly began to explore and decided to try it out.

Posvetlitveni tretma je pakiran v škatli z navodili. Sama embalaža je iz dveh delov, iz razvijalca in iz aktivatorja, ki ju ščiti varovalo in še dodaten pokrov. Produkt je na eni strani prozoren, rahlo rumenkast, na drugi mlečno bel. Varovalo odrtgamo in izdelek izstisnemo na dlan, pomešamo ju ter nanesemo na mokre lase.

The lightening treatment is packed in a box with instructions. The packaging itself is a dual-pump applicator, one side developer and the other side activator, that are protected with a cover and a lid. The product is transparent on one side, a bit yellowy, on the other milky white. We tear off the cover and squirt the product on our palm, mix them together and apply to wet hair.

Imam srednje dolge lase in porabila sem celo tubo, saj sem želela dobro premazati lase. Tretma se na laseh tudi delno speni, tako da ga je lažje raporedit po laseh. Jaz sem naredila isto, kot če bi lase umivala. Izdelek sem ga pustila delovati 5 minut. Nato sem si lase sprala z vodo in nadaljevala s šamponom in balzamom.

I have medium long hair and I used the whole tube, because I wanted to coat my hair really well. The treatment foams a bit on the hair, so it’s easier to spread it over the hair. I did the same as if I was washing my hair. I left the product on my hair for 5 minutes. Then I rinsed my hair with water and continued with shampoo and conditioner.

Ker izdelek vsebuje vodikov peroksid ima seveda tudi precej agresiven vonj, po barvi za lase. Frieda trdi, da bi naj tretma po eni uporabi posvetil lase za 1 odtenek. Ker so moji lasje res zelo temni, sem pričakovala res minimalno spremembo. Tako je tudi bilo. Lase mi je posvetlil le malenkost, najbolj opazno je bilo na soncu. Mogoče mi jih niti ni toliko posvetlilo, le spremenilo odtenek. Ker sem želela lase še malenkost bolj posvetliti, sem kupila še en tretma in ga znova uporabila po kakšnih dveh tednih. Tokrat razlike nisem opazila. Resda je slikano pod lučjo, v kopalnici, ne na naravni svetlobi a vseeno. Razlike po mojem mnenju ni bilo. Lasje so se sicer enakomerno posvetlili.

Since the product contains hydrogen peroxide it also has an aggressive scent, like hair color. Frieda states that the treatment is supposed to lighten the hair for 1 shade. Because my hair is really dark, I expected a minimal change. And so it was. The hair lightened just a little bit, it was mostly noticeable on the sun. Maybe it didn’t even lighten my hair, just changed the shade. Because I wanted to lighten them a bit more, I bought one more treatment and used it again after about two weeks. This time I didn’t notice a difference. It is however pictured under a light, in the bathroom, not in natural light but still. In my opinion there was no difference. The hair was evenly lighter though.

Priznam, da sem pričakovala mogoče malenkost večjo razliko, predvsem po drugem tretmaju. Lase mi ni skoraj nič poškodovalo, saj vedno uporabim negovalni balzam, tako da neke razlike nisem opazila. Lasje so le rahlo suhi potem, ko jih po tretmaju umijemo s šamponom, po nanosu balzama je spet vse pod kontrolo.

I admit that I expected a bigger change, especially after the second treatment. It didn’t damage my hair, because I always use a nourishing conditioner, so I didn’t see any difference. The hair was dry only right after the treatment, when I washed them with the shampoo, after applying the conditioner thing were back to normal.

V isti liniji je sta še šampon in balzam za posvetlitev, ampak se bojim, da bi mi preveč poškodovalo lase, zato se nisem odločila za to. Izdelek sem kupila pri nas v Mullerju in zanj odštela okoli 12€. Glede na to, da barva za lase stane manj, se mi mogoče zdi predrago, po drugi strani pa je nanos izredno lahek in skoraj ne morete narediti nič narobe.

There is a shampoo and conditioner in the same line for lightening, but I’m afraid that it would damage my hair too much, so I didn’t decide to try them. I bought the product in Muller (Slovenia) and paid around 12€. Given the fact that hair color costs less, I think this may be too expensive, on the other hand, the application is super easy and you almost can’t do anything wrong.

Mogoče boste tisti z malo svetlejšimi lasmi, kot jih imam sama, bolj zadovoljni z rezultatom oziroma se vam bo bolj splačal nakup. Razmišljam pa o šamponu za posvetlitev od OGX (Organix) Lemon highlights. Ste že poskusili katerega od izdelkov Brilliant Brunette od John Friede? Kaj pa kakšne druge izdelke s podobnim namenom?

People with a bit lighter brown hair than me, may be more satisfied with the results or would benefit more from it. I’m thinking about a shampoo for lightening from OGX (Organix) Lemon highlights. Did you try any of the Brilliant Brunette products from John Frieda? What about any other products with a similar purpose?

H&M: Dry Conditioner

Tale H&M suhi balzam za lase se mi je zdel izredno zanimiv in sem se odločila, da ga bom preizkusila. Suhi balzam je v pločevinki na sprej, kot lak za lase ali suhi šampon. Vsebuje 250ml. Embalaža je modra, pisana, z belimi robom zgoraj in napisom v bež kvadratu. Meni je všeč.

This H&M dry conditioner seemed very interesting so I decided to try it out. The dry conditioner comes in a spray can, just like a hair spray or dry shampoo. It contains 250ml. The packaging is blue, colorful, with a white edge above and inscription in a beige square. I like it.

Čeprav na navodilih piše, da je za uporabo za osvežitev las med pranji, sem ga le enkrat uporabila na tak način. Nanesli bi ga naj na spodnjo polovico las. H&M prav tako trdi, da balzam vsebuje arganovo olje ter ekstrakt avokada za sijoče in svileno gladke lase. Pred uporabo ga je potrebno dobro pretresti.

Although the instructions say to use it to  refresh the hair between washing, I used it only once that way. You are supposed to apply it on the lower half of the hair. H&M also states that the conditioner contains argan oil and avocado extract for shiny and silky smooth hair. Shake well before use.

Sprej je brezbarven in diši lepo sveže. Mene vonj spominja na papajo, vendar sem zelo slaba pri opisovanju vonjev. 😀 Jaz sem ga prvič uporabila na sveže umitih laseh in balzam je dal lasem lep sijaj in lepo jih je odišavil, ampak lasje so bili tako ali tako umiti. Potem sem pa en dan uporabila suhi šampon in lasje so ponavadi po uporabi suhega šampona mat, torej brez tistega zdravega sijaja in včasih, če nanesem preveč suhega šampona, tudi rahlo sivkasti. In takrat sem se odločila nanesti direktno na lasišče še suhi balzam in zadeva je delovala. Lasje so izgledali  sveže umiti, sijoči.

The spray is colorless and smells fresh. The scent reminds me of papaya, but I’m very bad at describing scents. 😀 The first time I used it was on freshly washed hair and the conditioner gave the hair a nice shine and fresh scent, but the hair was washed anyway. Then one day I used my dry shampoo and the hair is usually matte, without the healthy shine, after using it and sometimes if I apply too much it also turns a bit greyish. In that moment I decided to use my dry conditioner directly on the scalp and it worked. The hair looked freshly washed, shiny.

Od takrat naprej ga uporabljam vedno v kombinaciji s suhim šamponom, saj lasje po uporabi obeh niso mastni, so pa še vedno sijoči. Jaz si več ne predstavljam uporabe suhega šampona brez tega suhega balzama. Prav tako se mi zdi, da ga je skoraj nemogoče nanesti preveč, jaz ga nanašam po občutku.

From then on I always use it in combination with the dry shampoo, because the hair isn’t greasy, but it’s still shiny after using them both. I can’t imagine using the dry shampoo without this dry conditioner anymore. Also, it seems to me, that it’s almost impossible to apply too much, I apply it by feeling.

Kupila sem ga v H&M-u v Ljubljani (City Park) in zanj odštela 7,99€. Če uporabljate suhi šampon potem ga zelooo priporočam.

Moji najljubši izdelki leta 2015 #1

Moje najljubše izdelke bom razdelila v dve skupini in sicer v eni skupini bodo samo ličila in produkti, ki se uporabljajo ob ličenju, v drugi skupini pa bodo negovalni izdelki, izdelki za lase in ostalo. Danes bomo kar začeli z izdelki za nego telesa, las, ipd.

I am going to split my favorite products into two groups. The first group are going to be the body and face care products, hair products and such. The second group will include make-up and make-up related products.

1. MELVITA – PENEČI ČISTILNI ŽELE / GENTLE CLEANSING JELLY

Žele sem kupila v začetku prejšnjega leta in hitro je postal moj priljubljeni izdelek za odstranjevanje ličil. Nikoli nisem marala odstranjevanja ličil v več korakih. Pri meni pride v poštev le eden, izjemoma dva. Zmočim obraz, vsebino pritisnem 3X iz pumpice v dlan in umijem obraz. Žele brezhibno odstrani ves make-up z mojega obraza: tekoči puder, maskaro (seveda ne vodoodporne, kar je razumljivo, saj ni v ta namen), tudi temna senčila, črtalo in še kaj. Kljub temu, da učinkovito opravi svoje poslanstvo odstranjevanja, je zelo nežen in mi kože nič ne izsuši, prav tako ne pušča filma na koži po uporabi. Vonj je zelo nežen in nevsiljiv. Ta je že drugi, katerega sem kupila in zaenkrat ne razmišljam o menjavi.I bought this jelly in the beginning of last year and it quickly became my favorite product for removing make-up. I never liked removing my make-up in several steps. One step cleanse is enough for me. I usually wet my face, place 3 pumps of the jelly in my hands and wash my face. This jelly removes all of the make-up from my face, the foundation, mascara (not waterproof mascaras, of course, since it is not meant for such purpose), dark eyeshadows, liner and whatever I have on. It’s very gentle and it does not dry out my skin, it also does not leave any kind of film on my skin. The smell is very gentle. I already bought a new one and for the moment I am not thinking about replacing it.

2. PAUL MITCHELL – EXTRA BODY DAILY BOOST

Ta sprej za volumen las sem kupila približno 2-3 mesece nazaj in nisem imela velikih pričakovanj. Na moje pozitivno presenečenje se je izkazal za zelo učinkovitega. Imam težke, ravne lase, izredno goste in tanke. Sprej uporabim tako, da po umivanju lase, posušene v brisači, razčešem in sprej pršim čim bližje lasišču, po predelih od levega temena pa vse do desnega. Potem lase posušim in voila. Volumen je tu. 😀 Sprej se med sušenjem nekoliko čuti pod prsti, ni tak, kot da ga ne bi bilo 🙂 , ampak ni sploh moteče. Volumen ostane do naslednjega pranja. Pri tovrstnih izdelkih je bistvenega pomena to, da odkrijemo ravno pravo mero doziranja, saj je kaj kmalu lahko izdelka preveč in posledično ne dosežemo želenega učinka, ob tem seveda takoj sklenemo, da je izdelek slab, pa ni temu vedno tako. Se mi zdi, da pri izdelkih za volumen las velja pravilo ”manj je več”. Vsekakor je smotrno začeti z manjšo količino in v kolikor niste dobile želenega rezultata, nadaljevati z večanjem. V kolikor tudi z večjo količino izdelka ne boste zadovoljne, potem lahko nekako sklenete, da proizvod ni za vas. Se zna zgoditi, da kakšnemu dobremu izdelku zaradi neustrezne uporabe naredimo krivico in neupravičeno gre mimo nas.I bought this one a few months ago and I didn’t have high expectations but it proved me wrong. I have straight, heavy, extremely dense but thin hair. I use the spray on my towel dry and brushed hair, I spray it close to the scalp in segments from my left and all the way to the right. Next I dry my hair and voila. Volume is here. You can feel the residue under the fingers, it’s not like I have nothing in my hair, but it does not bother me at all. The volume remains until the next wash. It is crucial that we find precisely the right amount of dosage, because very soon it is too much product on our hair. Therefore the desired effect is not achieved. On the basis of this we instantly conclude that the product is bad, but this is not always the case. I believe hair volumizing products subject to the rule ‘less is more’. Anyhow, it’s reasonable to start with a smaller amount of product, and if you are not getting the wanted results, then continue increasing amount. If you won’t be satisfied even with a larger quantity of the product, then you can conclude that the product obviously is not for you. I just want to say that sometimes we can do injustice with our improper/wrong use to some very good products and those products mistakenly pass us.

3. MELVITA – ARGANOVO KREMNO OLJE / L’ARGAN BIO BODY OIL IN CREAM

Nikoli nisem dosledna pri uporabljanju losjona, masla ali kreme za telo. Če pa sem že pri volji, pa uporabim tole kremno olje in nobenega drugega. Krema je srednje gosta, lepo razmazljiva in se hitro vpije. Ne pušča mastnega filma na koži in čeprav vsebuje olje za seboj pusti prijetno nahranjeno in navlaženo kožo. Rada ga uporabljam tako poleti kot pozimi, ko imam izredno suho kožo. Je toplega, kanček sladkega vonja. Mogoče celo diši po arganu, ampak ne vem, kako v resnici diši argan, tako da težko primerjam. 😀 Vonj se obdrži na koži nekaj ur.I am never consistent, when it comes to applying lotion or body butters, oils. Honestly I’m too lazy to do it but if I do apply anything I use this creamy oil and nothing else. It’s creamy, not that thick though, it applies nicely and absorbs fast. It does not leave a greasy film on the skin, although it’s oil based, it leaves just a nourished and moist skin. I like to use it in the summer and especially the winter time when my skin is particularly dry. It has a warm, slightly sweet scent. It probably smells like argan, but I have no idea how argan smells so I can’t really compare it. The scent stays on the skin for a couple of hours.

4. THE BODY SHOP – TEA TREE PORE MINIMISER

Naj takoj omenim, da ne verjamem, da lahko katerakoli krema pomanjša moje pore. Moje pore so namreč gromozanske. Ker pa krema obljublja matiranje, hkrati pa bi naj služila kot baza/podlaga za tekoči puder, sem se odločila, da jo preizkusim. In ni mi žal. Po konsistenci se krema giblje med gelom in kremo, ima močan vonj po tea tree (tj. čajevcu), ampak se hitro razdiši. Najbolj všeč mi je občutek, ki ga pusti na koži. Krema se takoj vpije in pusti za sabo mehko, gladko, mat kožo, ki je pripravljena za nanos tekočega pudra. Ne bi mogla trditi, da podaljša obstoj tekočega pudra, je pa nanos pudra zaradi te kreme vsekakor prijetnejši. Jaz sem kupila že drugo tubo in je zaenkrat ne menjam.Let me start by saying this: I don’t believe that any cream can reduce my pores, because my pores are huge. Since the cream promises mattifying effect and at the same time it would function as a base/primer for foundation, I decided to give it a try. I don’t regret it. The cream consistency varies between a gel and cream with strong smell of tea tree, but it does not stay for long. I love the feeling it leaves on the skin. The cream absorbs quickly, leaving the skin soft, matte and prepared for foundation. I wouldn’t say that it helps prolong the existence of the foundation, but application is definitely nicer. I already bought my second tube and I don’t plan on changing it.

5. KNEIPP – KRISTALI ZA KOPANJE / BATHING CRYSTALS/SALT

Kneipp mi je vedno bil všeč, še posebej geli za tuširanje, olja za kopanje, kreme za roke, itd. V letu 2015 pa sem našla še en produkt, ki mi je ukradel srce in brez katerega si skorajda življenja več ne predstavljam. 🙂 To so Kneipp kristali za kopanje. Izbiramo lahko med ogromno vonji, kopeli so lepo obarvane, torej tudi voda. Te kopeli sicer niso hranilne ali vlažilne, pomembno pa je, da kože kljub temu ne izsušijo. Vendar pa je seveda uporaba losjona ali masla za telo skoraj obvezna, če imate suho kožo. Kopeli zelo lepo dišijo, vonj je dovolj močan, da zajame kopalnico, ampak ne premočan. Na koži se vonj ne obdrži dolgo, mogoče kakšnih 10 minut po kopeli. Kopeli najdete v Műllerju za 1,20€. Zame so dovolj poceni, da jih lahko uporabim večkrat na teden. Vedno rada poizkusim kakšno novo, ampak izmed vseh meni najljubša je kopel z vonjem vanilije, makadamije in medu. I always liked Kneipp, especially their shower gels, bathing oils, hand creams and so on. In the year 2015 I found another product that stole my heart. Without it I almost can’t imagine my life. 🙂 This mighty product is named Kneipp bathing crystals/salt. We can choose among numerous scents, the crystals are nicely colored and so is the water in the end. These baths are not moisturizing but also they do not dry out my skin. But if you have dry or very dry skin, the use of body lotion or butter is almost obligatory. The baths smell really nice and the smell is strong enough to fill the bathroom. Smells don’t stay on the skin long, maybe 10 minutes after the bath. Baths are low-priced, around 1,20€ in Muller, so I can use them several times a week. I always like to try a new one but my all-time favorite is the bath with the vanilla, macadamia and honey scent.

6. L’OCCITANE – IZBOLJŠEVALNA MEGLICA ZA OBRAZ POPOLNA POTONIKA / PEONY PERFECTING MIST

Tale sprej sem si kupila z namenom, da ga bom uporabljala za osvežitev make-upa in pa za samostojno negovalno osvežitev kože. Izredno mi je všeč. Uporabljam ga pogosto, porabi se ga izredno malo, saj je ”šprica” res dobra in izredno enakomerno razprši proizvod. Meglico največkrat uporabim po koncu ličenja, da »utrdim« ličila oziroma včasih tudi zato, da zakrijem pudrast videz. Ponavadi ga tudi uporabim, ko po parih urah spet napudram T območje, ki se mi masti in tako koža spet dobi svež izgled. Vonj je cvetličen, a nežen, jaz ga po par minutah več ne zaznam.I bought this spray mostly with the intention that it will be used to refresh my make-up or to refresh my skin. I really love it. I use it often, the usage is minimal because the spray diffuses the product nicely and evenly. I usually use the mist when I finish my make-up to set it and to hide the powdery look. I also use it when I touch up my T zone with a powder after a few hours to refresh the skin. The scent is flowery but subtle, I don’t smell it after a few minutes.

7. THE BODY SHOP – DROPS OF YOUTH BOUNCY SLEEPING MASK

Huh…kje naj začnem? 🙂 Masko sem kupila poleti, ko je ravnokar prišla na police. Radovedno sem brala ocene in gledala videe o njej. Potrebovala sem namreč produkt, ki mi bi konkretno navlažil in nahranil kožo. In baje bi naj ravno to bila naloge te maske. Obljublja bolj navlaženo in prožno kožo. In res je. Maska je bele barve, zelo gosta, kot žele, tako da se prst dejansko »odbije« od nje. Je zelo nežnega vonja, ga skoraj ne zaznam. Z majhno priloženo lopatico zajamem produkt, ga segrejem in razmažem med dlanmi, nakar se maska spremeni v olje. Nanesem na obraz, počakam 15 minut, preden grem spat in to je to. Maska se sicer kanček čuti na obrazu, ne vpije se popolnoma, ampak se ne prenaša na posteljnino, kar je zame ključnega pomena. Zjutraj obraz umijem z vodo in koža je prav sijoča, navlažena, zdrava. Jaz jo uporabljam enkrat tedensko, čeprav mislim, da bi jo lahko tudi bolj pogosto, a rada menjam maske za obraz.Where do I begin? 🙂 I bought this mask in the summer when it just hit the shelves. I curiously read reviews and watched videos about it. I needed something to moisturize and nourish the skin. And apparently this is exactly the mission of the mask. It is supposed to make the skin more flexible and moisturized. And it does. The mask is white, it’s somehow jelly-like, so your finger actually bounces off. It’s slightly scented, so I can barely smell it. With a small spatula that comes with the mask I take a little bit and put it in my hands, warm it up and spread it in my palms so the mask changes into an oil. I apply that to my face, wait 15 minutes before I go to sleep and that’s it. You can feel the mask on the skin, it doesn’t absorb all of it, but it is not transmitted to the bedding, which is very important for me. In the morning I wash my face with water and the skin is shiny, moisturized and healthy. I use it once a week although I think you could use it more often.

8. NUXE – BAUME LEVRES

Tale balzam za ustnice uporabljam že par let in sem skoraj prepričana, da bo vedno moj najljubši. Balzam je v lončku, je zelo gost, rumene barve, z vonjem po citrusih in medu. Kaj veliko o tem balzamu za ustnice ne bom pisala, saj sem porabila vsaj 6 lončkov in je pri meni stalnica. Ker je v lončku, ga najraje hranim ob postelji, v zimskih časih pa kar na kavni mizici v dnevni, saj ga zaradi pacanja s prsti ne nosim s seboj, če nimam huje poškodovanih in razpokanih ustnic. Edino tale balzam uspešno rešuje moje ustnice pozimi, ki so izredno občutljive na mraz. Jaz ga bom vedno in vsem priporočala, ker je zame najboljši in najbolj učinkovit balzam za ustnice sploh.I’ve been using this lip balm for years and I can certainly say it will always be my favorite. The balm comes in a pot, it’s really thick, yellow and with a citrusy honey scent. I won’t talk about this lip balm a lot, because I used at least 6 jars and it’s a constant for me. Because it’s in a pot I like to keep it by my bed, in the winter time on my coffee table in the living room, because I don’t take it with me, unless my lips are seriously cracked and dry. This is the only lip balm that successfully saves my lips which are extremely sensitive to cold in the winter. I will always recommend it to everyone, because for me it is the best and the most effective lip balm ever.

9. MELVITA – ARGANOVA KREMA ZA ŽAMETNE ROKE / L’ARGAN BIO VELVET HAND CREAM

Tale krema za roke je iz iste linije kot kremno olje, zato me sploh ne preseneča, da mi je všeč. Najraje imam kreme, ki se hitro vpijejo in ne puščajo mastnega filma, zato je ta krema vedno med prvimi pri meni. Vonj je enak kot pri kremnem olju, torej topel oziroma verjetno po arganu. 🙂 Krema je bele barve, srednje gostote, se hitro vpije in dobro vlaži. Je v majhni 75ml tubi, tako da je priročna za v torbico, bi pa bila vesela tudi kake večje (100-150ml) tube za doma.This hand cream is from the same line as the creamy oil so I am not at all surprised I like it. I like creams that absorb quickly and are not greasy, so that is why I always reach for this one. The scent is the same as the creamy oil, warm and it probably smells like argan. 🙂 The cream is white, medium thick, it absorbs quickly into the skin and moisturizes really good. It comes in a small 75ml tube so it’s convenient to carry it with me in a bag. It would be great if the cream would also be available in larger package (100-150ml).

10. BATISTE – SUHI ŠAMPON / DRY SHAMPOO

Odkar sem izvedela za obstoj suhega šampona, je to izdelek, ki ga imam vedno pri roki. O njem sem poslušala zelo dolgo od blogerk iz tujine, ampak se nikoli nisem odločila za nakup, dokler nisem enkrat slučajno naletela nanj v Douglasu v Avstriji. Seveda sem ga takoj kupila in sedaj vem, zakaj so vse tako navdušene. Ker imam temne lase sem kupila šampon za temno rjave lase. Ta diši po čokoladi (?) in je obarvan, tako da se na laseh ne opazi, če ga nanesem obilneje. Šampon dobro deluje, učinkovito vpije maščobo in doda še malo volumna. Dobra lastnost Batiste linije suhih šamponov je tudi ta, da lahko izbiramo med različnimi vonji in tudi barvami (za svetlo rjave lase, za temno rjave lase in tudi za svetle oziroma blond lase). Cena je okrog 5-6€.Ever since I heard about the existence of dry shampoo, I always have one at hand. I caught a lot of great infos about Batiste from beauty bloggers abroad, but I never decided to buy one until I »bumped« into it in Douglas store in Austria. Of course I immediately bought it and now I know why the enthusiasm. Because I have dark hair I bought the one for deep brown hair. It smells like chocolate (?) and it’s colored, so even if I apply too much it’s not visible on the hair. The dry shampoo works really well, efficiently absorbs the grease and gives the hair a bit of volume. The great thing about Batiste dry shampoo line is also that you can choose from a variety of scents and colors (for light brown hair, dark brown hair and even light or blonde hair). The price is around 5-6€.
